This hotel has absolutely everything to make your business stay as pleasurable as possible. Rooms are very good and clean, beds are comfy, internet is good, breakfast is exceptional, gym is full of equipment. Restaurant is excellent ( try blueberry cheescake) , but if you would like to eat somewhere else, hotel is located in the middle of everything. Staff is really professional and helpfull, check in/out is always smooth, it's a pleasure to come back to this place every time.

if the hotel manages to find an option to expand parking, that would be very helpful. Right now it's a bit tight and crowded.

The Ambasador Hotel in Nis is a perfect hotel to stop over when travelling through Serbia just off the road South/North it has become our go to Hotel as we travel this route often. The staff are very friendly and helpful the rooms are large and the breakfast is amazing much more choice than the usual continental breakfast of many hotels, there is parking available we also like the restaurant with nice views of the Square and the food is excellent. We were treated to an upgrade this time from a superior room to the Presidential sweet which was amazing and larger than many homes having views over the city from three sides a huge bed, large bathroom with seperate shower and a bath tub with city views. The Ambasador is the only hotel we keep returning to on our journeys from north to south Europe i thoroughly recommend anyone wanting to stay in Nis, Serbia to book the Ambasador.

The Hotel is perfect for us so there is nothing we don't like.

Very convenient location, the very center. Nice views from upper floors. Back yard parking. Comfy beds and linen. The richest breakfast we’ve provably ever seen. Huge amount of bakery and pastries. Nice restaurant with really good food. The staff at reception and bar (everywhere actually) are really nice and helping.

Why we took one star off. A five-star hotel should have complimentary water in rooms. Besides it’s the first time we ever come across when coffee capsules in a room are not free!

All in all, the hotel is almost perfect. The location is unique - through the giant windows, I had a panorama view on King Milan Square. Whether you want to visit the fortress or the pedestrian area with all its wonderful magazines and restaurants, it's just a few steps away. A car is not needed. The latter can stay safely on the private parking on the backside of the hotel. The breakfast is one of the richest I've ever seen on my voyages. The bathroom is big and comfortable.

Although the outer temperature was around 17°, the air conditioning was in cooling mode. The staff told me they cannot change this, and recommended to switch off air conditioning, which I did. So the room temperature was 21° and fell to 20° in the morning, which, to me, is pretty cold. I didn't expect that from a 5-star hotel.

The Breakfast was fantastic. The location of the hotel is at very center of the city. You can reach anything by walking. Of course visitting some archeologial sites ( Mediana for example ) you have to go by car. There is a city transport alternative however, if you want to use it. There is also an Ice skating ring withing 15 minutes walk, where for very little money you may rent skates and have a fun ride for an hour or so.

It is not connected with the hotel. The issue is, that if you want to visit a restaurant, or better, a restaurant with live music ( Fridays and Saturdays only ) you have to make a reservation at least a week or more before. So, if you plan to stay less than a week, like we did, make a reservaton before you go to Nis. There are phones in the internet, etc. Look for the top restaurants in Nis. At any rate, the restaurant of the hotel is also vey nice with affordable prices.

Location was excellent, very central, close to the fortress as well as restaurants and shopping areas, staff very friendly and could communicate in English which is unusual in this city, rooms very spacious and modern with great views of the main square and surrounding areas

Minor things which could easily be improved - eg mosaic floor tiling in shower had a number of the small tiles missing, can easily be fixed and avoid looking shabby, toiletries were good quality but throughout three night stay, the toiletries in the shower were shampoos with no shower gel and we kept forgetting to ask them to change one of them , but housekeeping did not notice , at breakfast, we had to keep asking for bowls to be provided as these were not available although it was buffet style, no milk next to coffee making facilities, only at the far end of restaurant next to the cereals maybe have more crockery available upfront? I was not aware that in Serbia, smoking is allowed inside - my pillow smelt of cigarettes and this made it difficult for me to sleep the first night

This is the best stay we had for a long time! The hotel is on the main pedestrian street with a lot of bakeries and coffee shops, right next to the Fort and a park. I asked for early check in if possible, and our room was ready in 11 am ❤️ the staff was amazing, the massages were great, the view was spectacular, I honestly can’t express enough how much we loved it. Ps: take the full course meal packet. The food in the hotel was amazing, we are sorry we had only breakfast.

Located right in the central square of Nis, hotel offers also parking. Room was nice, comfortable bed, espresso machine included. Breakfast is one of the best i had, although i am frequent traveler in Serbia, Croatia and former Yugoslavia countries. Good breakfast, variated and very tasty food, good coffee and friendly staff. Top hotel at a good price. Bar in the lobby is also very good, i had also lunch at the hotel restaurant and it was very good.

Nothing negative to mention.

People are so polite, parking was so easy because some workers are taking care about that and they always monitor car, they were so so nice, in general everyone in hotel. Also place was great, clean, nice, breakfast was great and gym also was great.

Everything is great, small improvement maybe door were not able to lock from inside, they looked to me slightly insecure but in general hotel is great, safe so no worries but maybe like possible improvement.

Excellent location, wonderful room, very kind and hospitable staff.

The same thing happened as last year. In June, which is not the hottest month of the year, the air conditioning, full running, curtains closed, were able to pull down the temperature only to 23 Celsius. If you leave the curtains open, enjoying the beautiful view of the city, the room temperature is going up to 25, 26 Celsius! That’s totally unacceptable for a business hotel.
