Firstly, the decor of the place is one of the best in Flores. The cafe/restaurant downstairs has some of the best breakfast and coffee on the island. Then the rooms are on the second floor and the third floor is the common area with even cuter decor. There, you can do yoga, get some work done, or just hang out. The rooms are spacious, have a good-sized bathroom, and the AC works really well. There was also a small desk. My favorite part was how accommodating and nice the entire staff was. They all went above and beyond. Breakfast that was included was delicious, one of the best I had in Guatemala. Flores was my last stop of my trip and I am so glad I got to spend it here! I booked all my tours through them and at the end of my stay they even called a taxi for me for the airport. A+++ in hospitality!

It's not too bad, but I wish the beds were softer! It's on the harder side, I'm sure some people prefer that. Not a big deal but just my preference! Also wish they had black out curtains because the sun was very strong. The wifi is strong if you are downstairs, in the common area, or if the bed is closer to the door. When I tried to sit at the desk or lay on the bed further away from the router, it got weak. And there were times when the wifi was very spotty, especially at night. That was my only concern about the place because I work remotely. But I think this place has one of the better wifis on the island. I would definitely come back here it was one of my favorite places to stay in Guatemala!

This is a beautiful building and great location!! Easy to walk everywhere in Flores and you can see the lake just across the street. There are plants everywhere, it’s super clean, & the staff is great (no english though). I enjoyed the included breakfast and they picked me up from the airport for 40Q.

My only negative is that the building is located on the ring road of Flores. It’s not cobblestone like the rest of the roads, but smooth pavement. So cars, tuktuks drive very fast and loud past the hotel. There’s music playing and you can hear everything from the street. Recommend bringing earplugs!!

The staff was truly so warm and welcoming, especially Nancy! The breakfast was a pleasant surprise and everything I had was great. The interior of the place is so cute and the wifi was good enough to do work. The location was also PERFECT. Super close to the main drop off but on a quiet enough street that you didn't hear a ton of road noise.

The bed was laughably hard. Maybe one of the worst I've slept on. But the worst part was the noise from inside the hotel. Zero sound proofing of any kind and the front doorbell starts ringing around 6am every time a staff member shows up because the main door doesn't open until 7. You can hear every door close, every conversation. The rooms are super close together as well so you can hear everyone you share walls with. To be fair, this is pretty true of everywhere I've stayed in Guatemala.

Great location near bus drop off. Very smart, clean accommodation. Cute loft and roof area.

Breakfast was supposedly included, but schedule meant we missed both. We were offered late breakfast one day but the offer was barely fulfilled when we took them up on the offer. Only one poor option offered.

Excellent Location, excellent breakfast, wonderful staff, lovely roof terrace, nice social area. Room has a desk if you want to work in your room. Efficient aircon. They provide towels which is great! I booked the Tikal tour via the hotel as well, and the tour provider we went with was excellent, so all in all a wonderful stay

Ground floor room no.7 doesn't really have a functional window (as it gives onto the interior patio - staff area - so has frosted windows and blinds). Won't affect you if you are using it as a base to sleep for a couple of days (which you probably are) but I imagine that it could get depressing if you plan to spend more time in there as there's not tons of privacy once blinds are raised (wouldn't impact if you were working from the room I don't think - more a consideration when getting ready). I am sure other rooms don't have this issue though, so it was my luck of the draw. Some complimentary shower gel/shampoo would be great!

The staff is extremely helpful and courteous at Casa Ramona, the location is perfect, the breakfast is very good, the hotel is very clean, and the rooftop terrace is a great place to relax and watch a sunrise. The shuttle service that is supplied by the hotel is also very reliable for airport transports. The AC was completely functional and we had hot water the whole time. I don’t have a single complaint about anything. It was an excellent experience and I would recommend it to everyone.

I had a wonderful stay here. Casa Ramona is beautifully decorated, has an amazingly friendly, helpful staff and makes the most delicious breakfast and coffee. The rooftop area upstairs is a lovely place to hang out day or night. I had the room with the little balcony in front and loved being able to sit out there in the evening. The location is good, quite close to the entrance of Flores where the taxis and tuk tuks drop you off (side note: I had a really yummy, local dinner of pescado a la plancha & salad at the restaurant across the street).

The only negative was street noise

I loved this hotel and didn’t want to leave! I loved drinking coffee and reading in the adorable sitting area, watching people walk by while eating breakfast (included with the room), and coming back to AC and a hot shower after several sweaty excursions. The staff is so friendly and so helpful!! They always greeted me by my name, and also let me speak Spanish (which I super appreciate, since I’m sure their English is better). They helped me book three tours and even let me know I could order a lunchbox for my bus ride when I left. Highly recommend!

Nice location near bus stop, good room with balcony and airconditioning which is nice in the hotel weather. Nice rooftop and lobby with drinks. Staff was very helpful.

Quite some noise from the road, so maybe room without balcony at back is better. Breakfast from 8 which does not match with the shuttle and Tikal trips they offer, no take away breakfast, only lunchbox where you pay 40 quetzal for. Would advice to offer at least something, we could now buy something and store it in fridge which was okay. Breakfast is not much special anyway, for a restaurant I would expect it a bit more fancy then just an apple as fruit with the pancakes.

Great room and bathroom with Aircon, which was much needed as we were there during very hot weather! Lovely terrace on the roof with an indoor room for relaxing in too, a great view.

The egg and beans breakfast wasn't great, we didn't bother having it the second morning even though it was included. The staff were very loud during the day and night on their phones playing games and doing Duolingo! I was in a room next door to reception and was woken both mornings at 4am with noisy mobile phone sounds constantly pinging. I like a firm bed but these were very hard!
