the location is excellent, the Futian subway and train station just right outside of the main sreet. The Coco Park shopping Mall is 5 min, walk, and there is another mall just next to the hotel has all kind of retaurants.

I’ve been working in China for over 25 years, and for the past 15, I’ve made it a habit to stay in the Shangri-La hotels chain — mainly for the consistency and predictability. But this hotel truly stands out. It’s not just good — in my opinion, it’s the best I’ve stayed in. With a bit of humour, I’d say the CEO of this hotel probably has the easiest job in the world, because the staff does it all. From reception to housekeeping, from room service to concierge, the "Horizon" Lounge team - every single person I encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making my stay comfortable. What impressed me most is that this wasn’t a one-time fluke. I’ve returned to this hotel several times over the past few years, and each visit reaffirmed my impression: the quality of service is consistently outstanding. The rooms are spotless, the beds comfortable, and everything works, which, for frequent travellers, is priceless. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like coming back, not just because it’s convenient, but because it feels like a home away from home—highly recommended.

Enjoyed Horizon Club very much. The staff there were helpful with bookings, and they cleaned the tables and restocked the foods non-stop to keep the lounge pleasant even though when the lounge was packed. Kitchen staff were replenishing food 15 minutes before closing time so that food never runs out. Chamber staff also cleaned the room well, and turned down with towel change everyday. The concierge was helpful with receiving and storing our boxes and helped with transferring them to our DiDi car.

Would have preferred the Happy Hour drinks to start earlier but it starts at 6pm, ends at 8pm for dinner service! Not expecting dinner at hotel club lounge so this is a pleasant surprise! It is a little late for us though, who want to have a drink before going out for dinner. The furnishing in the rooms is rather dated but we are not bothered by it.

It is near to the Futian Hi Speed Station, as well as to the city link underground mall. Most importantly, the room is excellent, nothing to complain at all. Great hotel. Great stay.

The Metro exit 10 that goes up to Hotel is out of service for more than a month. Will be great if something could be done to get the authority to fix it. Feedback to Hotel staff and am surprised they are ignorant of the malfunctioned escalator. Even more surprised is when they replied there's nothing they can do about it.

Amazing clean hotel with extraordinary location in Futian! Grate spa!

More varieties for breakfast maybe, but cooking the porridge for guests based on the meat/ingredients selected is a big plus. My wife ate 2 bowls. She loved the piping hot porridge. Zen's service staff, chamber maid, bellboy & the concierge are very courteous, polite & friendly.

Compkete set of toiletries to be provided before arrival of guests without having to request for it. The hair dryer is too big & heavy. English movie to be in English instead of being dubbed in Mandarin. Will be boring for guests who dont understand Mandarin.

Location and facilities

The hotel’s management communication was very poor. I emailed to request an extra bed more than a month in advance and followed up again just before check-in (1:30 PM). However, when we arrived at 9 PM, everyone was exhausted from traveling and needed to rest, but the hotel had not prepared the extra bed. The manager, Mike, assured us that the extra bed would be provided free of charge as compensation. However, during check-out, they denied having said that the extra bed would be free of charge.

Great location, but still very quiet. Very easy to access to public transport and there are several shopping malls and restaurants around.

The staff can be more considerate, as there was a day that we want to take a nap at noon, but there is construction work ongoing, very noisy and even though the service centre said they have informed the construction team, the work didn’t stop, we need to call them 3 times then finally stop…

The staff firstly made the difference, friendly and approachable and really tried to make your stay easier, and succeeded with me. I would recommend they share all their offerings with booking.com as they had so many options that I did not even see on the website. As a very fussy/boring eater, they fully catered to the western and eastern pallets. I was able to take my Chinese clients there and they were very happy and impressed with different offerings. Internet connection was the best I ever had in China.

Would have liked a menu for inside dining, as I saw it was available but did not see a way to order. Information about the restaurant right at the top (40th floor), I could not find out the price of their set meal not if I was able to just visit the sky bar without having a meal there. Very few negatives as said the hotel and staff in particular was ver good.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Good location. 5 min walk from coco park and metro access.

My daughter was suspected to have a mild fever during our stay. I asked the hotel for thermometer to test her body temperature. We were delivered 2 traditional thermometers which we did not know how to use. I suggest the hotel to equip with digital thermometers for guests emergency needs. This will be very helpful.
