If you like old World Spanish charm, this is the place for you. Out in the countryside with ample parking, it is a large building with a huge verandah, two large dining areas and two bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Being older, there are no lifts, but there is only one upper floor. The bedrooms are huge, with a large double bed and good ensuite facilities. We stayed there for a Christmas party, which was excellent, the food being very tasty and with a very good entertainer, we had a splendid time.

Our shower was very old fashioned with a curtain, rather than a panelled cubicle.

The welcome, the stay, the final exit! Can't really fault this accom. V good value too. £202 4 nights - as I extended my stay. V clean, great sized accom, good location for my needs, availability of extreme sporting activities on site, food great and good value, bar decent, coffee amazing! Manuel the owner picked me up personally from Mojacar Town as no taxi avail when I arrived. I was respected as a solo traveller and very well looked after by all staff, particularly Ruby, thankyou. I was travelling for a break from UK, to celebrate my 50th birthday and begin looking at the possibility of relocation to Spain permanently. Have rebooked this accom June as I think it's great!

No kettle in the accom (room). They are prob avail on request - I just never got around to asking! Otherwise - no further negatives!

Lovely place, we had a very nice room, authentic saloon door to bathroom, lovely view from balcony

Had to find someone from the bar to check us in. Reception was never manned. We had no water one morning and could not even flush the toilet. There were no instructions on how to order breakfast or operate the tv to english. Room service was every second day you don't find that out til you arrive.

Room was big and spacious especially the bathroom loved the decor and the views were Amazing. Stayed for a couple of nights and had an evening meal each night that was cooked to perfection. Definitely come back in the summer as they have a big spacious pool area with loads of activities in the summer. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Would be nice to have tea making facilities in room Next time i will just bring my travel kettle..

The room was lovely, spacious and clean the mini fridge in the room was useful in August. The bed was comfortable and the shower great. The Hostal has a lovely feel to it, inviting and warm. The restaurant was great too, fabulous service.

As a solo traveller with a dog I would have liked to know the rules re not leaving the dog in the room for ANY time before booking. As such, not only did I pay an extra 10€ a night for my dog to stay (which I was unaware of), I also couldn't use the pool as I couldn't leave her in the room. The temperature of the days I stayed was 38 and 39 degrees! My dog is comfortable and happy being left on her own for short amounts of time, she's 15 and sleeps most of the day. This was incredibly disappointing. It would be nice to see more vegetarian options on the menu in the restaurant. Oh, and softer pillows on the bed, individual pillows...I personally do not like the longer pillows intended for two people.

Stay here frequently. But this time it was cold and our room was cold. The Aircon/ heating would not work and there was no-one else in the building. We have not had a problem at this place before. We were the only guests so the staff went home as we had a pass key to get into the building after our night out. Shame as it spoilt the night.

Staff were fantastic friendly and helpful. Everyone was happy to help and I will definitely come back

Only complaint was due to power issues I was stuck at hotel and could have done with fruit or bread and some onsite assistance. But all good hasn’t put me off

Everything was as good as we had hoped for. Staff in all quarters were excellent. Food well cooked and presented. Setting was lovely and position was excellent Great to have parking on site

Fantastic location 5 mins out of Turre towards the mountains. staff were welcoming and helpful and happy ! Food in the restaurant was excellent value for money. Lovely pool for a relaxing day x

A very calm place. Good soundproofing for this price point in a Spanish hotel. The Restaurant is reasonably priced considering they have a captive market. Decent parking.

As a brit l love to see Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Happens so seldom in Spain.
