We stayed for 6 nights at La Casa del Geko. It was a perfect bed and breakfast and very well situated and a short walk for restaurants to go to in the evening and very quiet.  It was also only short walk to the beach and well situated to get to the Rocca... a good hill walk but well worth it for the views are breathtaking.. . (go  earlyish as it can get hot). We had a lovely breakfast at the local cafe which was included.  They were so friendly we loved to go down each morning. There was a grocers and green grocers on the nearby road where you could buy water and fruit. Stephan was so welcoming,  helpful and friendly. He picked us up from the train station and helped us with our bags. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for such a lovely stay at la Casa del Geko. We felt very much at home.

Stephen was incredibly accommodating and friendly, always available to help and very quick to respond to messages. He even showed us where to park for free and kindly picked us up to take us to the B&B. He speaks several languages, including English and French, and had prepared a list of great local spots to eat. We stayed in the ground floor room 'PETRA'. It was very cosy, clean, and had all the basics you might need for a short stay. The B&B is perfectly located in the historical center, just a 2 min walk to the cathedral and 5 min to the beach. Another great plus: we were able to leave our luggage there after check-out.

This was a really unique little stay and we loved it!! Our host could not have been more friendly or helpful and the room itself was perfect for a quick stopover. The location is right on the edge of the old town and perfect for easy sight seeing! It is up a steep little hill so be aware if you have heavy luggage.

Just slightly tricky to find as it is positioned at the top of cobbled paths as opposed to the streets I was expecting to find from Google maps. It's worth looking for though!! Parking is a little way away, but understandable as it is so close to the historic centre!

Super clean, spacious, and comfortable. My best stay in Sicilia! Hosts were kind and communicative and helped me call a taxi. Zero complaints, I hope to stay here again next time I am in Cefalú.

Maps directed me up many many flights of stairs to reach the apartment. It was initially difficult to reach the apartment for this reason. However, there are alternate routes, and next time I would simply take a taxi to avoid any hassle. However this is no fault of the host or the property! Simply misguided by technology.

We LOVED it! Cute little rooms, cute bathroom. My girlfriend and I stayed on the second floor. PERFECT location. walking distance to everything you wanna see in historical center plus the beach. Staff was very very friendly and helpful! They found us a cab for the early early morning we left, even gave us thier number to confirm. Rooms are quiet, with a nice balcony. When we return to cefalu, we are definetly coming back here :) and it was cheap!

it was perfect!

I went with my young adult children. Booked 2 rooms. Boy, we were lucky to find this place at the last minute. We enjoyed every detail of this place. We could tell the hosts put much effort to make their guests comfortable and have a happy experience with the stay. Stephen helped us with parking which was above and beyond kindness. The rooms were so cute and had many places to store our stuff. We wanted to stay at Cefalu extra day just to stay at this place.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the room was cool thanks to the stone walls (if someone needs more cold, there is air-conditioning!). There was a small kitchen with wine glasses so we could finally open the bottle of wine we'd been carrying for some time... Although the place is very close to the centre (you can reach everything within 10 minutes walk), it is quiet. The owners are very kind and hospitable. The breakfast is served in a nearby cafe and you can choose from 4 options.

We had some difficulties finding the place, because the satnav was confused (and so were we) by the small, narrow one-way streets in the area, but Stephen, the host helped us by driving and parking our car from a nearby parking lot. Without him it would've been very difficult to park the car. I really missed a clothes horse or anything we could use to dry our swimsuits and towels...

Convenient location for the beach - just a few minutes walk. The area is just outside of the main shopping/tourist streets so quiet but with easy access. Breakfast is a couple of minutes walk away in a local cafe and offers several choices. Stephen met us on arrival and reparked the car for us in a more convenient location. He was very friendly.

We found it difficult to navigate to the apartment and initially parked in the wrong road. Perhaps a map of the immediate area marked with where to head for would have helped.

A very clean and well located property. in particular, Stephen was a wonderful host. On the day of our departure, it was raining quite heavily and we had parked a fair distance away. Without any request from us, Stephen, very kindly offered to transport us and our luggage to our vehicle, using his own car, saving us both time and a drenching of ourselves and our luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

Stephen was very attentive and advised us where to find free street parking, though it is only for small cars. His place was lovely and comfortable. The room was nice and in a very convenient location. The choice of breakfast options at the cafe down the hill was excellent and varied.

Everything was fine for us, but not suitable for people with mobility issues or lots of luggage as you have to go uphill to the building and then inside there is a staircase only.
