Great location, and the bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom and toilet were spotless. The host was lovely and check- in and out was easy and stress-free. The room was a good size, with an in-room sink, which made not having a private bathroom much easier. There was also excellent communication from the hosts when Booking.com was sending me odd messages after I requested to extend my stay, which the hosts accepted and sorted out almost immediately, but the Booking.com system rejected it.

The main thing was that there was only a small window so it was really difficult to cool the room down.

Location close to everything beach at bottom of road restaurants and bars within 15 mins. Room perfect as a base bed comfy satellite staff but always at hand fantastic place to chill

Parking we found troublesome albeit not the owners fault at the time of trip there was a new building being built and roads being re surfaced so we had to move car at least twice a day

The rooms were very clean, and the owner was very approachable when I needed help. The location was excellent and the other guests were very friendly, as was the housekeeper.

There was no issues with my stay, it was very relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Chedburgh and it was excellent value for money.

Location was ideal for the Metro. Also good for a stroll along to Cullercoats, our main destination for the weekend. Tea and hot chocolate on tap, so to speak, big telly on the wall to wind down with. Didn't see a soul while I was there (my check-in was done by phone) so it was really quiet. The accommodation was outstanding for the fee, I would look here first if I come back this way.

The sole thing missing from my particular room was shower gel from the dispenser. Good thing I had some facewash with me - it's not just for faces!

The Chedburgh was a brilliant place to stay! We visited this weekend for our little girls first trip to the seaside and the hosts could not have been any friendlier and any more accommodating to us, each and every thing we needed they provided, we was in a great location, the b&b and our bedroom and en-suite were very clean, tidy and comfortable. Thankyou for having us, we can’t wait to come back again soon!

the venue is good, clean, comfortable and bang in the middle of town. You can see the beach from the front door. The contact we had with their the venue team were nice, courteous and entirely automated - which was odd

I thought there was breakfast with the booking - a smidge pricey without breakfast. Ensuite was tiny.

Very great hotel, beautiful side view on the sea, I loved the atmosphere ! The hotel is owned by a very nice family, always available, always kind, and happy to welcome their guests ! There is netflix and a lot of channels on TV. The bed was really comfy. You can even order english breakfast (extra cost)

The staff were very accommodating allowing us to use internal store room for secure bicycle storage. Choice and quality and quantity of breakfast. The living room of the downstairs suite was a good social space for our group of seven.

The layout of the ground floor suite needs a rethink. The access to the twin bedded room was via the double bed room and bathroom, awkward.

Breakfast and service were excellent (exited my expectation), the room was nice and clean and the location is perfect.

No reception (the key box was empty when we arrived), and a lack of a dedicated parking place which was not clear enough emphasize in the room description.

The location was brilliant as shops were nearby. It was very comfortable and I had a big room. I also needed an iron which I got as well.

One of the shower rooms were a bit dirty. There were finger or toe nails in the shower box. Overall it was ok.
