Hotel location and activities during end of the year were great. Room is very clean with new carpet. Concierge staff and service was great. Good options for dinner.

Game room was deteriored and missing games. Front desk staff could be happier and more customer friendly.

It is a great location, near the national park and have some really nice activities to do

I feel the pool wasn't as clean as it could be and the Jacuzzis didn't work that well and weren't as hot as they should be

Loved the location because it is right outside of the Yosemite gate by the Mariposa grove. It's a little drive into town but there's still that option.

I did not enjoy the food at Jackelopes. We had 3 burgers and they were overpriced and sad when they got to us. They don't come with any of the fixings (lettuce,tomato, onion). My bacon mushroom burger had to little Half pieces of bacon and a few mushrooms in the middle of the bun under the patty. It was not worth it.

Room had enough space for a family with 2 adults and 2 little children. Good food. Free nightly smores kits for the family. Good location just a few minute from from the Yosemite gate.

Our room was never cleaned or refreshed. We specifically told the housekeeping staff when we left after our 2nd night. We returned at night to no towels, no toilet paper, and needing a change of sheets on a bed for which we left a note. Trash was not emptied. We had to call 2 times as we realized what we needed. We had to collect our own trash (we have 2 little ones so we had a lot after 2 days). We changed the sheets on the bed ourselves. The runner they sent was speedy and happily brought what we needed in 2 trips.

Room was nice, clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. I appreciated the possibility to store luggage at the front desk during the day. Free self-laundry (you have to pay only for detergent). Many extra services (ice ring, swimming pool, bonfire, snow shoes rental). Small grocery store right in the hallway.

Really loud heating. Not enough ceiling lights in the rooms, you have to turn on 4 table lamps.

Tenaya Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and top-notch service. The lodge’s ambiance perfectly blends luxury with a cozy mountain retreat feel. Our room was spacious and had all the modern amenities we could ask for. The resort facilities, including the spa, indoor pool, games room and multiple dining options, made our stay even more enjoyable. The location just outside Yosemite’s south entrance was very convenient, allowing us easy access to the park (and the whole Mariposa Grove area) while providing a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. We highly recommend Tenaya Lodge for those seeking comfort, relaxation, and an excellent Yosemite getaway!

Our family loved Tenaya Lodge! It is a beautiful resort tucked away in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. It is a very relaxing setting, but there are many things to do if you choose. We did not realize that so much was included with the room. We panned for gold, and enjoyed archery, the game room, corn hole, the outdoor pool, hot tub, firepits and the free s’mores ingredients! We also liked the flavored water and snack station! We could have ridden bikes for no additional charge as well, but we simply did not have enough time. We were on a 2 week road trip, so we really appreciated that there was no charge for the washers or dryers in the laundry room. The location is only 2 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite which was really convenient. We are from East Tennessee, but if we ever have the opportunity to go back to Yosemite, we would definitely stay here again!

The restaurant/grill was very expensive, but the food was good. The room was pricey too, but it was spacious and comfortable. There are no microwaves in the rooms, and none on property for hotel guests. This limited our food options in the room.

I really liked the facilities. The location is great with easy access to the park. My son really enjoyed the indoor pool. The room was comfortable and clean. Overall it met our expectations.

Perhaps it was due to the season but the hotel was short staffed. We had a late lunch at one of the restaurants and were asked to wait even though there were a lot of free tables. When I inquired about it, I was told they were short staffed. I can understand restaurants being shorts staffed, but it's better to inform guests about why they have to wait. I could see the manager was annoyed when I asked why we had to wait. To be clear, I have no problem waiting, but I would like to know why. Better yet, I would have preferred something like, "I'm afraid we're short staffed at the moment, perhaps we can have you seated so that you can enjoy a drink but service might be delayed".

Great staff. Nice amenities and fun activities such as snowshoeing and ice skating. Smores each night too!

Need lighting out at road entrance. Hard to see in the dark. Housekeeping should be standard and not require a call each night to request.

Good facilities, professional staff and great location only 10 minutes by car from Yosemite south entrance. We stayed in the Explorer Cabins, which are separated to the main resort but a free shuttle active 24/7 makes it easy for guests to access the restaurants, pool and the spa in the main resort. We appreciated the more secluded and more authentic “out in the wild” experience with still all the comforts, but I can see how some people might not enjoy this as you won’t stay in the main resort and the description on Booking.com was not clear about this. There is wine social + other activities and breakfast daily included in the price but in a building located near the cabins (not in the main resort).

The description of the cabins on Booking.com should be better and clearly explain the cabins are in a separate area.
