The location was perfect. It was super clean!! The pillows and bedding were perfect.-loved those pillows-what kind were they? :). Felt so safe and such a quaint place to stay. It's an awesome place to stay.

I was in room 10. A few non criticals-A handle on the side to pull out the bathroom door easier as I'm on the short side. The expresso machine was nice. However ,a regular coffee machine in the hallway for non fancy people. If the pull tabs on the ceiling fan were longer ,so as it could be easier to click. Again, nothing critical. I would highly recommend it!!!!!!

Room was beautifully and tastefully decorated. TV was wall mounted and on a swivel so we could watch from bed or the two chairs. The bed was comfortable, sheets were crisp and breathable, temperature was perfect. Bathroom was fantastic too. Nice big shower, plush towels, double sinks and each had an outlet.

There's a train that goes by many times during the night. It woke me up each and every time but my partner slept through it every time. If you're a light sleeper, that can be annoying.

So cute!! We loved it and we booked again for a night in July! Have breakfast at the dancing bear thru the alley or around corner, yummy!

There is a train the runs pretty often, but doesn’t stop, at least on the weekends! The name of the property should’ve given that one away but it did not, lol! The staff although is unseen and all is contactless provide earplugs just in case. We slept thru it! Keyless everything total plus and you’ll get text updates prior to stay, Highly recommend!

Modern renovations, super clean room, Nespresso machine in-unit (with extra pods available). Location right in the center of town. Firepits outside.

Soundproofing left something to be desired—I travel with earplugs and white noise, but both the hallway inside and the train outside were audible. Also, 0 human communication during the entire stay (self check-in and out)—not a problem, just felt a little weird, as I've never had this before.

Easy to get to, seamless self check in and out, clean and private room, modern facilities and equipment, casual but helpful amenities.

Since it’s so close to the train station, you can hear the train horn any time a train passes through, which disrupted my sleep. There are blackout curtains on the windows that don’t do much to help keep light out on a beautifully sunny day. Being ear plugs and eye shades.

Located in a friendly and welcoming small town, the Station Inn was everything we could have asked for after spending some time in New York City. This was the perfect retreat and an authentic experience of the American lifestyle. The inn itself was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Susan keeps an outstanding property, and having met her and her husband in the local Irish pub, we could sense the pride they had for the inn and for Pawling as their home.

As the name suggests, it is close to the train station, but the trains aren’t frequent through the night, so the noise didn’t impact us.

I have been in the hotel business in California for 50 years. Seldom, if ever, have I found such a little gem. I wanted a fine place to stay as I was going to a musical performance in Pawling and it was going to be special. From the concise rapid responses I received in making my reservation to the honest disclosure of no staff, electronic checkin etc to finally an immaculate room with excellent linens, great bed and very quiet, I was thoroughly pleased with the Station Inn. Bravo to the owners and management.

Clean, spacious, Nespresso maker, comfortable bed & pillows, nice outdoor area. It's next to the train (they give you earplugs & white noise machine, but we didn't need it - it was fine. Lobby has more coffee, water, ice machine. Front lawn has comfy chairs & firepits, room opens to a small semi-private deck.

Nothing - it was great! We will definitely book here again.

It was impeccably clean, and the staff, although we didn't meet, was in good communication and very helpful. We loved every minute of our stay and we would definitely come back. The bed was amazing and comfortable as well! Great places to eat right around the corner and a delightful experience overall.

Having to park around the block is not optimal but in reality not a huge problem. Well worth it for what you get in return.

We've stayed here a few times and like it very much.

However, we reserved what was advertised as a king bed, but it wasn't. It was a queen bed with another little bed over on the side under the roof eaves which would be dangerous for an adult. The main problem was that it was up 3 flights of steep stairs. We are 73 and 75 years old and that was difficult. Folks need to know that this is a third floor walkup and that it has low ceilings and eaves, and that it is really a queen and a single. Recommend for people under 50, possibly with one young child.
