It was a rough day for me to begin with, driving 12 hours from Washington, close to 1000 km and barely ate without taking much break. I put check-in time at 3 pm but hell nah I definitely did not make it in time. Anyway, I arrived at 9.45 pm, sluggish and felt super tired. I walked in and was awed with Simran's exceptional service! He greeted me and asked me how I was doing. I told him all my journey driving from Washington to Prince George, barely eating, and felt super tired. Simran immediately let me know not to worry that he is going to take care of everything for me. I called earlier to request for a late check-out and the lady on the phone told me that can only be done in person by the front desk, and voila, Simran said that will happen. He asked me what time I'd like to leave and I let him know that id love to leave at 1 or 2 pm. Voila, Simran told me im good till 1 pm. I was super hungry and needed some food. I was looking for lounge or restaurant or maybe a bar with food options but i came in too late for anything to be opened. And again, Simran offered me some snacks from the lounge from the "VIP" club member only area. I grabbed an apple and a blueberry muffin. But turned out my fridge did not have any water at all but a bottle of wine on the table, and yet Simran, once again, offered me a bottled water. I then asked how much was the price of the wine because at that point I was super thirsty and there was no water to drink at all in the fridge. And Simran said don't worry about it, it is complimentary. I was like, "really? Are you sure??" And Simran was like, you had a long day, enjoy it and rest well. Let me tell you. I have been a diamond member for Marriot and Hilton (in fact I paid with Hilton card) and also a member for IHG and Hyatt World and very often travel around for business related, yet, I have never encountered sooo many complimentary services. Simran made it happen.

Anyway... For the room itself tho, excellent in everyway. Kitchen is very clean and neat with all the kitchenette in each drawer!! However, i was lowkey sad that they don't even have some packets of "salt and pepper" but they do have sugars! Yasss for my coffee in the morning. I kind of wish they have at least a small container of packets Salt and Pepper. That's it. Perfecto!

Safe and convenient location. Front desk staff were very friendly. Hot tub and pool were open and clean with lots of towels! Easy and safe parking available.

Food was left in our fridge. The bathtub had some debris. The bedding had some hair on the sheets. It looked like it was just stuck on there from the dryer, maybe. Both ice machines were not working.

There was a restaurant on site, close enough to stores but far enough away to have peace

A few things to comment on about our suite, the control for the jet tub didn’t work properly plus the coffee pockets were not the proper size for the machine in the room and it spilt everywhere. The pockets were square and the coffee machine took round pockets.

Bed was very comfortable. We stayed in the king suite with kitchenette and separate sitting room, which was a lovely feature. I was able to have a private phone conversation while my hubby watched tv. The desk chair was excellent. There was also a pocket door separating the bedroom from the rest of the space which helped reduce noise and diminish light from the hallway so we had an almost pitch black room for sleeping. This was an added bonus! The staff were very helpful and friendly. We got back after dinner to find the complimentary coffee bar had been put away, but the desk clerk gave us some decaf coffee pods and extra tea bags to take back to our room and make ourselves.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. Grout needed a good scrubbing but overall it was decent. Furniture needed vacuuming, but it wasn’t terrible. We had a first floor room which faced the parking area, so we didn’t have any privacy with the curtains open. Not a deal breaker for one night, but if we stayed again I’d ask for a room higher up.

Convenient location close to the many things we needed to visit

The staff were exceptionally friendly, but I had to concentrate on understanding the desk clerk. She talked very quickly with an accent I was trying to understand. She was very helpful and very pleasant.

Overall the hotel was excellent. I'm struggling with a great review because I selected the wrong room type, thus was disappointed upon arrival. Was still a great stay!

I would say all travelers today will want to plug in a phone overnight beside their side of the bed(s). Easy to provide, I'm surprised how many hotels, even very new ones, don't have plugs on both sides of the bed(s)

everything was so nice and clean, people were friendly and efficient. SJ was amazing helping me with forgetting my license even when I was so far from home. he helped to calm my fears and walk me through what he needed.

the thermostat in the room was finicky either we were freezing or burning up.

Loved that it had a separate room with the king size and my kids had each their own bed. The kitchenette was nice also.

The room was not super clean,but not terrible either. Through Saturday night, there were people loudly fighting in the hallway. Scared my kids a bit.

Easy to find. This time my family and I got to have a hot tub before bed. last year when we came through the hot tub was turned off ice cold my daughter and I were bumbed out. But not this time around.

The parking lot is a little crapped bc of those working out of town their work trucks took up a lot of room and they stuck out further so it was a bit of obstacle course. I would love to see either a Continental breakfast or a vulture for breakfast at a restaurant nearby.

The staff was great, love the location, very clean rooms and they are big. The hot tub was nice.

Very tight parking, no parking for large trucks, the pool was freezing cold. Couldn’t get the breakfast because we booked online.
