Maureen is a fabulous host. Very thoughtful and accommodating to every aspect. The cottages are amazing, way better in real life and the property is gorgeous. We bought some of their beef that we later made burgers with, it was delicious! Highly recommend their beef. So many details and effort is put into each person's stay. I've been to a lot of bnbs but none this carefully crafted and cozy. I will be coming back.

A wonderful place to spend time, Maureen made sure we felt welcome. It's hard to pick a favorite part of our stay but I'll say sitting outside in the rocking chairs in the morning and night was a real highlight, so peaceful. Also right up there was the hot tub, the sweet horses and dogs, the robes, the great wifi, etc etc. We will be back!

I always try to give some constructive feedback but it's hard to find with Woodhouse Cottages. One thing that would be nice would be a little shelf in the shower to put soap on. That's about it!

We absolutely loved this spot. Lovely owner who went well above and beyond with the personal touches (carrots in the fridge to feed the horses). You will need to drive 20 minutes if you want to eat out (great recommendations from host) - but it was so gorgeous we went to the supermarket and bought salads to eat on the veranda watching the sun go down! Bliss

My only tip would be to tell people to bring dinner back with them. it is so lovely why would you want to go out!

We just loved everything about this cozy comfortable cottage. Maureen is delightful and her cinnamon buns are spectacular. We loved having the horses come by and say hello and we fed them carrots. The dogs were very friendly too. We were lucky enough to see the deer everyday and on a walk in the field we spotted a black bear with her three cubs which was a highlight. The cottage was spotless well equipped, good WiFi, TV, cooking facilities, great heating, comfortable bed and great shower.

Great location, cozy clean cabin, horses were amazing to pet & feed carrots! Owners attention to details (homemade cinnamon buns and sparkling juice for our anniversary) Watching the sunset from the hot tub! Dog friendly, our boy was very happy! We will definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing! Its hard to say anything negative. Only things were the bed could have been comfier and the hot tub at our cabin cooled off pretty fast.

Our satnav took us a round about way to arrive at the property and it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere so when we arrived to the warmest of welcomes from the owner we were immediatley reassured. The cottage had everything we needed and it was great to meet the horses and dogs (even though I'm allergic to both they were irrestibly friendly!). We also loved the humming bird feeder. A little bit out of Prince George but easy enough to get there and back and such a comfortable place to stay and enjoy the ranch atmosphere.

Internal layout a little awkward - bumped into the glass coffee table a couple of times until I put a supermarket bag in front of it to remind me and tripped over the stove hearth a couple of times - worth bearing in mind with children/older visitors? But that's being picky - it was genuinely a pleasure to stay there.

We spent 3 nights in the Corral Cottage and felt very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Maureen was a warm, polite and attentive hostess. Surrounded by animals and great walks with the friendly dogs it was very peaceful and relaxing. Nice to have: BBQ & hot tub. If you have the time, I‘d recommend to stay here at least 2 nights to get the „Ranch feeling“.

Maureen greeted us with her two friendly St. Bernard’s. we enjoyed a private cabin, complete with dry pine for firewood, for the wood stove. the horses came to the fence 10 feet from our window & we happily fed them carrots (supplied, because the hosts KNOW everyone loves feeding horses, right?!) and we were greeted with fresh hime made cinnamon buns cooked minutes previously, in the morning… as we rocked our chairs on the deck, enjoying the sunrise. best value, period. premium experience. p privacy fostered in old fashioned friendly service before self approach to hosting guests. 10 out of 10 recommended. ~ IF you don’t NEED to wake up IN the town of Prince George, then definitely save your money and enhance you’re lifestyle in an experience that resonates, still! Maureen? thank YOU! Greg & Amy oh? & the hummingbird feeder was spot on, as we had constant guests near porch/ kitchen windows :)

What a beautiful place this is! The cabin has absolutely everything you need and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect stay at the cabin. Freshly baked cinnamon buns, personalized welcome sign, hot tub basket, fruit bowl, treats, bowls and bed for the dogs, carrotts to feed to the horses. There was nothing missing. We will be back for sure.
