I went with a large group but decided to have my own room. It was huge, slept 6. Large comfy bed..white fluffy towels..flat tv..tea facilities..overlooking lake..very clean..housekeeping each day..beautiful cooked breakfast..all for $300 for 3 days. All of us, honestly could not fault it but I think the room I had with a balcony overlooking the lake was the best option.

There was nothing any of us could find fault with.

The location was the best near the lake and the best view

Nothing wrong with the property just the food in the Bristol was bad the stake that I ordered was touched flames way to much haven’t tasted the stake all I tasted Was the burnt meat on the outside nothing else plus the I asked for a simple bowl of rice and the chef refused to give us some I would be happy to pay simple amount of $10 for a bowl of rice but he refused it. The pork baby back ribs the sauce wasn’t good it tasted the ribs was dry and burnt.

The room was huge and furnished very well. We were in the newer building.

No lake views from our room.

Loved the location and views were spectacular. Having a separate toilet to the bathroom was a fabulous discovery. Charging mats for phones either side of the bed so didn’t need to dig out the plug in chargers. Plenty of power points. Very spacious room and was exactly as the pictures show. Decent spread of food at breakfast which was included and no chance of going hungry (cooked and cold selection). Even had a choices of milks for us dairy and/or lactose free people. Bistro attached to the accommodation was huge and plenty of room. Food was usual pub style but super yummy. Staff very friendly. Sunrises and sunsets were stunning.

One strange thing was not having a full length or large mirror in the main room (us gals like to see what we look like before leaving). Only mirrors were in the toilet and bathroom but definitely not a deal breaker at all.

The view from the balcony far exceeded my expectation. The lake looked spectacular and walking tracks, parks, skate parks are all in close proximity. Similarly the location to the shops, bars etc couldn't have been better. Too easy! The free breakfast was an unexpected bonus. The meals area was very large and well presented. The hotel itself was great and the meals were very good.

No complaints, although the keypad for the door lock did play up at one stage. Maybe we weren't that familiar with it? Otherwise it was a great stay and I'd come back for sure. Great location.

The room was cosy when we arrived with the heating turned on. It was so lovely to come into that space when we were tired and have everything we needed - clean towels, thick blankets and milk in the fridge. Perfect! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Just what we needed. The breakfasts were amazing - really good eggs and bacon, cereal for the kids and yoghurt, coffee etc. The staff we saw were friendly.

We didn't seem to have a park near our room, but we just parked further away.

It has a superb view of Lake Jindabyne!! You can stroll by the lake and it was truly an amazing experience in itself. Our family room was spacious with everything we need. Toilet and bathroom were separate which we appreciate. Breakfast was decent. Parking is available but not dedicated to a room.

I wish staff would be more attentive in refilling breakfast options. We ate breakfast before 8am on our first day but there were a number of food items with not much left. The house keeping can also improve in tidying the room and ensuring that enough towels were provided

I loved this hotel! The location is amazing and we had a perfect view of the lake from our balcony which was just what we needed for afternoon drinks. The bed was super duper comfy and the room was huge. So good to have the toilet and shower separated. Direct access to the lake and the walking track around it as well as across the road from the main shops made it easily walkable. Breakfast being included was a godsend and made it even better value even though the value was already really good. I can't wait to stay here again!

Comfortable bed and plenty of choices for sleeping arrangements. Bistro was great selection of food and drinks that are tasty as well as breakfast from the hotel. Good amenities in the room for a hot drink. Check in is easy to do without staff interaction, ample parking. Great location in town and convenient to get to Thredbo. Lovely view of the lake!

Some of the bunk beds are held together with tape. Couch has also seen better days. Was a little inconvenient to be given a room upstairs as we had a young baby but not a deal breaker.

The staff were amazing when we arrived! My partner was unwell, so they organised an early check-in so he could rest. The room was stunning, more like an apartment, which allowed us the space for him to recover, and for me to get some sleep! Even though the room only had a limited view of the lake, we enjoyed the stunning view of the lake whilst having meals in the restaurant there. The included buffet breakfast was just the icing on the cake! Well done LJH staff, your efforts were appreciated!
