The Hotel is located in a lovely place in front of Lecco (i.e. Malgrate). There is a fantastic view on the lake and the mountains around. The Hotel is totally refurbished according to the highest standards. Breakfast is good. We had dinner at the restaurant/pizzeria outside that belongs to the hotel and it was perfect. Staff is very nice and dedicated and services provided are excellent. I do recommend.

The hotel needs to check their procedures for pre-autorisation of credit cards. Numerous exchanges with the hotel before arrival because they could not do the pre-approval of my credit card(s). Finally I had to fill in a form and send. But when they asked again for the same form when we checked in.. And payment was no problem. Make sure that you specify if you want a view of the lake ; balcony may be towards inner courtyard. Quite pricey. Parking in the hotel garage is best suited for smaller cars - some of the spaces are very tight and especially the exit.

The breakfast was excellent. The location perfect.

Free Parking available around the block, which considering the rainy conditions was less than ideal but you can get paid parking either provided by the hotel itself or in front in the blue parking bays.

The hotel overlooks the lake , beautiful view! Friendly staff + spacious rooms and breakfast is good =) There is a huge, gorgeous outdoor area facing the hotel, perfect for walking, meditating, .. by the lake.

Nothing during my experience. Just note, if you are travelling by car - the parking structure isn't too spacious so it might feel tight if you have a big vehicle.

Everything was ok. A big plus to the staff at the reception (except the guy with the parking problem) and the girls at the breakfast!

The guy at the reception when we were checking in, he insisted so much in moving the car to another parking place when he should normally give us the keys so we cand take the luggage to the room and then get down to move the car. He was so desperate to move the car now, now, now! Not a good start for us with this guy. Also watch out that the underground parking entrance is not suitable for lower cars, you can damage your floor there!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Promessi Sposi. Everything was just perfect. The view, the design, the layout, the food, the staff, everything is a lesson on how things should be done. Oozes style and class without being stuffy. Modern design but still calm and relaxing. It's really well located in Lecco which is our favourite place to base ourselves in when visiting Lake Como.

We didn't like having to leave. We've vowed to stay there again. Maybe would have been nice to be able to make our own drinks in the room, but that's nitpicking.

Wonderfully renovated hotel, very accommodating staff and great breakfast. Highlights were the spa and rooftop bar both with amazing views.

Spa and parking garage weren't included in the price (although both reasonably priced - 20eur/2h/2persons and 25eur/night)

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Promessi Sposi on Lake Como. The design is beautiful and modern, and the view from the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking — perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink. Special thanks to the dark-haired young woman (unfortunately I don’t know her name) who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Her attentiveness made a real difference and truly elevated our experience. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous location right on the lake . Very modern ultra smart clean hotel. Lovely staff overall . Secure garage parking but be warned the bays are quite small . Nice room with all the modern touches . Hotel has lots to offer , fabulous roof top terrace and bar overlooking the lake . Breakfast had plenty of choice . Lovely spacious bathroom .

Awful male member of staff checking us in which we found very upsetting but luckily the issue got sorted by another female staff member who intervened for us . Lighting in the bathroom was very dark . Some of the croissants and cakes at breakfast could have been better for a hotel of this class . Expect fresh coffee not machines . Very little parking available if you can’t reserve garage parking but typical all round the lake.

-The lack of support when arriving by car. The receptionist came to the outside to confirm my booking number before I could park inside, but forgot to explain where should I g, to get out of the parking. With luggages the last thing you want is to go up and down trying your luck to find the way out on all the possibilities. -too many automatic messages, the schedule to go tho the spa is too short, and the price it is also too much for such a service -small room
