Everything about this resort is amazing. great location (walking distant to the kwai bridge) 711, lotus express also near by. The resort it self was amazing. Good sizes swiming pool, clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious and amazing, helpfull staff. We specially love food at the restaurant, every dishes just tastes amazing. Prices are great, not expensive at all.

Too loud with the music from house boats at night time. They do not stop untill midnight.

Really nice hotel, nice terrain which is properly maintained, friendly staff, large rooms, pretty restaurant near the river with really good food. There are lovely Koi fish you can feed. Great value for money. We stayed in several hotels during 3 weeks in Thailand, and I would definitively recommend this one.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the rooms are big and comfy, the staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is perfect to relax around, and the restaurant is cheap and tasty. The location is perfect - it's directly next to a beautiful river with lots of fish and regular boat taxis which can take you anywhere along the river. It's about a 30 minute walk to anything major, but there's always plenty of tuk tuks that can take you if you don't want to walk. There's a 7-eleven just around the corner if you need anything. We used the hotel's recommended tour of the waterfalls and railways, which was easy to book at reception and gave us everything we needed. Would be happy to stay here again some day.

The hotel next door has paddle boards and water inflatables for use on the river - I'd love for Good Times Resort to make a deal with them for us to use them too, as we were very jealous that we were not allowed to use them!

Our room was very comfortable and cleaned daily, the staff were all very kind and helpful, and the pools were fantastic! We enjoyed the buffet-style breakfast, and dinner was also very good and reasonably priced. We usually had a table right beside the river. The grounds were lush and beautiful! The resort was within walking distance of the River Kwai Bridge, the night market, train station, and Death Railway Museum. We appreciated the 2 glass bottles of water each day.

The only criticism I have is that the resort offers free drinking water in reception, in small plastic cups that are sealed with plastic. In my mind it would make a lot more sense to have a water cooler where the glass bottles can be refilled, and this would be much more environmentally friendly.

Great place - excellent, well-kept grounds, lovely garden and riverside location. Basic , clean rooms and bathrooms. Close to amenities, bars and other restaurants. Lovely riverside restaurant and pool. Friendly efficient staff and great support arranging private tours to suit needs ( eg car to see Huay Mae Khamin.. further away than Erawan but well worth it!) and private tuk tuk for half a day to see/ climb temples and caves ( particularly recommend Wat Tham Bam and summit - and nearby cafe Meena a highlight!)

We stayed at Good Times Resort for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and overall a lovely place to stay. The pool and communal areas were beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious and spotless, with tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, and a small balcony. Pool towels were also provided. The staff were consistently polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We also booked a day trip through reception to the waterfalls, Hellfire Pass, and the Bridge over the River Kwai. It was a great day out, and the included lunch was delicious—excellent value for money. The on-site restaurant was reasonably priced, and seating overlooked the river. All of the meals we had there were delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again if I return to Kanchanaburi.

Very good restaurant - romantic place besides the river, incredibly fast service, baby chair, good price and quality ratio. Friendly staff. Cosy rooms. Great location. Quiet and family friendly.

Too much chlorine in the pool - making it impossible for children to stay in the pool longer than 10 minutes. Even then, many children (ours as well as others) suffered from a rash on the skin and painful itching feeling. I let the employees know about it, but their response didn't give much confidence that they would do something to improve it (they offered medicine to relieve symptoms of our child). Other than this, all positive.

The location by the river was excellent. The gardens (& fish ponds) created a tranquil experience. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast choice was great - all sorts of things on the buffet and a eggs cooked to order station. Our room was really spacious with a private balcony (we were on the first floor - better than the ground floor where room outdoor sitting areas were right by the footpath to the restaurant)

The chemicals in the lovely swimming pool. It looked so clean, it was long enough to properly swim in and not busy at all BUT it tasted horrible and made our skin itch - too much chlorine? There was the occasional sound of loud music from a neighbouring hotel/bar

Established resort with 2 pools (Max 1.5m deep). Room size was good and amenities are plenty. There's 2-3 restaurants nearby when we walk out. Good times resort has its own restaurant too. Morning air and view at breakfast area is awesome, food is great too, with thai/chinese food, salad, cereal, cupcakes/dessert, bread and fruits available. Resort has tour services for half day or full day too, most require minimum of 4 people.

Room lights can be brighter. The bed mattress has sunk in, likely due to many guests sleeping on it for a long time. Resort can consider getting new mattresses. Pillow is very soft.

Best place we stayed in Thailand. The staff are amazing, the resort is beautiful. The family rooms are well thought out with single beds for the children. The place was spotless. There are 2 swimming pools, both get quite a bit of shade. The river down the middle has fish the kids could feed. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The restaurant food was also amazing, some of the best we had. We were there for new year and they put on a lovely evening with dancers and fire works, done really well, tasteful and not over the top. They arrange tours, taxis and boats which also made it so easy and it’s a short walk to the train station and also to other nearby restaurants.
