From the moment we arrived at Hochfeldalm, we felt transported into a peaceful alpine haven. The nature surrounding the hotel is breathtaking — endless green hills, pure air, and silence that heals the soul. The hotel itself is spotless and cosy, with a charming simplicity that makes you feel right at home. What truly made the experience special was the warmth and thoughtfulness of the host. Even before our arrival, communication was timely and helpful. Though we hadn’t fully arranged some of the details beforehand, the team went above and beyond — preparing sandwiches for us when needed, helping us settle in with no stress, and answering all our questions with care and kindness. We’re deeply grateful for this unforgettable stay — not just for the beauty of the place, but for the people who made it feel like more than just a hotel. It’s a place we will definitely return to, and recommend with all our hearts.

The view is out of this world! The location is great and away from all the hustle and bustle of Sankt Johann and Kitzbuhel, but it is close enough to get to either in a few minutes. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and again, that view!! We had everything we needed for a great stay. The staff were friendly and especially made a fuss over our little dog.

The parking place is about 200m away, and it is a little tricky to navigate the ski slope to and from the parking lot. It also costs €15 a day, so you need to be aware of this. It's difficult if you are bringing luggage, skies and groceries. We thought we would eat there, but the restaurant was not open in the evenings.

We spent one night at Hochfeldalm, and it was wonderful. The host was very kind, the view was breathtaking, and the room was nice too. The common fridge was a great idea as there is no fridge in the rooms. There were many options for breakfast with great coffee - and the buns were still warm! We also had dinner there, and it was delicious (their Käsespätzle is highly recommended!) We can only recommend this accommodation.

Location was on the slopes with breathtaking view. The owner / manager was really nice and helpful.

You have to walk over a large slope to get to the hotel entrance which is not bad but it would be good to warn guests.

The team there is magnificent! We spent Christmas eve and Christmas day at the chalet and it was wonderful. The rooms are nice and clean, with everything one needs and the service is impeccable. Everyone is super friendly and does anything to make you welcome. A nice addition to the team are the two very nice and friendly dogs 🤗.

The restaurant has been closed - after skiing I had to go down to the city to have something to eat. There was restaurant service in booking.com - they could warn the guests that end of the season no meals available around.

The view was incredible, staff were super friendly and helpful, room was very big and a great value. Just beware you will need to walk across a ski trail to get to the place, but that wasn’t a big deal and they offer to help you. Loved it here!
