What a lovely hotel! We were delighted with our stay, the staff were all so friendly (Eduardo and Filipa in particular) and couldn't do enough to help and make sure we enjoyed our visit. The hotel is beautiful and in a stunning location, the rooms were big and comfortable too. The pool was perfect for a dip and there was always room to park the car. Breakfast was delicious and offered a very good selection. We would absolutely return here and would recommend to others.

We had a perfect stay at the hotel, amazing location with stunning views, beautiful gardens, a place where you truly connect with nature, super friendly staff that helped us in every possible way, always attentive to detail and last but not least it is the best pet-friendly hotel we have ever been to, our doggy enjoyed the most. It was an unforgettable experience and we will definitely come back again. Thanks for making it so special💙

Very nice hotel for some relax time and astonishing views. Perfect to go with your dog as long as they are well-behaved. Friendly staff and really nice pool. Ping-Pong table included!

The twin beds were rather small. The pool could have used some cleaning throughout the day to make for the best swim. The music at the weddings in the venue next door was really loud and took away from the relax environment at the pool. The breakfast was a bit basic.

I first stayed at Cotto do Gato for a business event, and I enjoyed the experience so much that I knew I'd come back. I have now returned with my husband and pet dog and it was another wonderful experience. The staff is amazing, super friendly, polite and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable and with a wonderful cosy feeling, not to mention the amazing view from the balcony. The breakfast has a lot of variety and once again the staff will provide with everything you need, including any special request. I know that this was not the last time I've stayed at Cotto do Gato.

I love the hotel, but there are two details that I might change a bit. The water pressure was just a bit off this time, and I would add blinders between the bathroom and bedroom to give a little more privacy.

The hotel is a great and solid value for money! The staff are extremely happy to help and welcoming to our dog. Some key highlights: - the breakfast was great and the offered many warm and cold options - the view from the terrace was incredible I do recommend the hotel consider creating a fenced in area for the dogs to play and meet each other. This would be great added value!

The only thing that is less than ideal is that there is a glass section of the bathroom that connects the bedroom and the bathroom so you have NO privacy. Whether you are travelling with family, a partner, or friends, it is not an ideal situation.

The room and bed were very comfortable. The view was beautiful. Lovely internal decoration. The breakfast had a big variety and was excellent. Philipa took great care of our requests.

Everything. The building and decorations were made with taste, the staff members were really nice and the hotel was really pet friendly (everything was made to enjoy the stay with our pets).

The noise from the restaurant next to the hotel where they have parties in the garden. It was the only minus. I assume it is mostly during the weekends.

This is the kind of hotel you need when travelling with pets. Very pets friendly. Nice rooms not second choice one, like often when travelling with pets. Very quiet. Restaurant is at 3 minutes walk. Horses in the front of the room in the morning. Breakfast is very good, there is even a menu for dogs. Staff is very friendly. We recommend this location. WIFI has a good quality.

Maybe more international TV channels?

New and super nice hotel, rooms decorated well, balcony with great view, nice pool, restaurant nearby if you want to have dinner. A lot of space outside and inside, stuff was great and helped with any request/concern we had. Highly recommend!

We loved it. Everyone and everything was amazing. The staff, the view, the room, the breakfast and the atmosphere. We had only booked 3 nights but ended with 6 nights. Our dog was spoiled and he could be with us everywhere. He didn’t want to leave. It is a unique place🌞
