Returning to Torre de Gomariz Wine & Spa Hotel was an absolute delight, and this time, I had the pleasure of surprising my wife with this rural escape. Nestled in the serene countryside, the hotel offers a sense of peace and tranquility that is truly unmatched. The open, expansive views are breathtaking – rolling vineyards, lush greenery, and a horizon that seems to stretch forever. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel a world away from the everyday hustle. What really sets Torre de Gomariz apart, though, is the staff. They are super friendly yet incredibly professional, striking the perfect balance between warmth and attentiveness. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, which made our stay even more memorable. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the evening meal. The dining experience was nothing short of Michelin-starred perfection. Every dish was an art form, with exquisite flavors and attention to detail that left us savoring every bite. It’s rare to find food that’s as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate, but this was exactly that. The rural charm of the hotel, combined with its luxury and refinement, makes it a truly special destination. Whether you’re looking to relax, indulge, or simply enjoy the beauty of the Portuguese countryside, Torre de Gomariz delivers on all fronts. The Torre de Gomariz is well nested into a beautiful vineyard, combining old and new building and facilities. Indoor pool and spa were perfect with the perfect temperature, the massage at the spa are very nice, the room was very comfortable and convenient, bar and restaurant are one of the best of our entire trip in Portugal !

The carpet in the room should be changed/cleaned and the shower let the water getting outside but nothing serious

I missed more amenities top quality or a well known cosmetic brand aince it's a 5* hotel. I expect quality and luxury. Maybe the room service should be more complete and include salad..

Everything was perfect, even the weather. It was a perfect weekend getaway. The staff is very attentive and facilities were clean and well maintained. The property is gorgeous and located in. Very serene setting very close to Braga. Perfect for a relaxing weekend!

Breakfast room is a bit too cozy when the hotel is full.

The pool, rooms and breakfast were first class. Scenery around the hotel over the vineyards was excellent and the service sensational. All meal offerings of breakfast, lunch and dinner (including vineyard wines) were first rate but would like to see more seafood based dishes available.

Wonderful location, wonderful hotel. I travel a lot. This is one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Torre de Gomariz is absolute top.

The weather... but this has nothing to do with the hotel! By the way: very good umbrellas are at the disposition of the hotel guests.

The whole property is wonderful! Staffs are nice and helpful! The restaurant is terrific!

The only thing I don't like is the drainage of the shower and the sink, the design of it made a problem, water can't drain well. And they might need to consider to change the design of both the drainage and also the shower door.

Lovely property, good parking, very helpful staff, spacious rooms, very good breakfast, great massage options at the SPA, overall a great experience.

Hard mattress and soft pillows, turn out to be quite uncomfortable.

Great little hotel. Very tranquil and relaxing spot in the vineyard. Staff very friendly and room was lovely. Will definitely be coming back.
