Location was excellent being in the centre of fuengirola. And I can not say enough about the wonderful staff especially Mercedes, what a joyous ray of sunshine she is, I would go as far as to say Mercedes is the best receptionist I’ve ever had the pleasure of being greeted by, both professional and friendly in her approach to helping. All the staff I had involvement with were very very friendly, (I’m not good with names) however I would also like to mention the blonde room maid who spoke very good English, for her happy smiley attitude every time I saw her. With regards to our room, I’m not going to give the number as I don’t want it not being available next time I book ( which I definitely will be returning ) which had a fantastic balcony seeing the sun from mid morning until sunset. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on that, but everything else was fantastic value for money.

Can’t think of anything

Mercedes the Receptionist was very helpful, always had a smile, greeted us every day she was there when we went out. Nothing was difficult for her, Room was just the right size for our needs, bathroom and shower with bidet was perfect. The hotel was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and decor. The traditional Spanish style was depicted everywhere you turned and this was i tribute to the management and the staff.

Tea and coffee making facilities with cups and saucers and glasses for 2 and in the room. This is essential for visitors on breakfast only booking. Making Tea, coffee and water facilities should be available throughout the day

Stayed here for 4nights in April. The hotel is situated in the centre of Fuengirola with shops ,cafes and restaurants all around and the beach just a few minutes walk away. The bus station was just across the road and the train station less than a five minute walk. The location is excellent. The reception staff were exceptional, always there to help, always with a smile. We only used the restaurant for coffee or tea in the morning as we use to like going to the Spanish cafes for breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable but basic. Excellent value for money. The only negative for us was that there was no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. We would definitely go there again😁😁

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room

We really liked the traditional Spanish style of the hotel. At first we received a room with windows towards an internal floor but the ladies at the reception helped us and we could change for another room where it was possible to open the window and get fresh air. The hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance to the main square (Plaza de la Constitución) and to the port. The seafront and the train and bus stations are within 5 minutes walking distance. The breakfast is good and we were really satisfied with the buffett dinner as well. El señor en el restaurante is a nice person and helpful.

In the evening/night it was impossible to open the window because of the mosquitos. We had to buy plug-in mosquito repellents.

Staff are fantastic had a little problem with a/c in our room. Actually told one of the house keeping staff when she came in showed her it leaks after 15minutes. We went to the pool by the time we came back where to engineers in our room with the a/c off the wall repaired it put it back up all working before we even needed to use it again. Space to leave the luggage for the day after check out as we had an evening flight home was great as meant we could enjoy our last day. Room 225

The pool has signs saying your can’t reserve sun beds but it’s allowed to happen anyway. Ever time you go no sun beds due to towels on them all but nobody at the pool. Upset my daughter a few times so I went to reception they said it’s a big problem they have but if nobody’s there move the towel a take the beds. It shouldn’t be for the guest to do this if it’s a hotel policy someone should go an check and remove the towels that way guest will not end up in altercations with other guests an will soon stop this issue. This problem meant we stopped using the pool and went to the beach a paid for beds for the last 4 days so my daughter was happy. I’d like to see a new policy in place when we stop next year or this policy actually inforced by hotel staff not asking guests to do it.

I have stayed here before because of the excellent location close to transport, restaurants and the Salon Varieties theatre. The rooms are much bigger than in the average hotel, the dining room is very attractive and bright. At breakfast there was a good selection for all nationalities. Patios and public areas are very attractive, everything was spotlessly clean. I was pleased to see that an advisory notice was in place about the ongoing water shortages due to drought.

No English TV but there were French, German even Japanese channels, the channels were there but no signal on any of them. I live in this area and know that the satellite went down a long time ago and think that a solution could have been found by now. The area is a bit run down and scruffy and offers no decent views from the room windows. We were late for breakfast one morning and some of the hot items had gone cold. We were lucky with the situation of our rooms, however there are many many more spread out in a maze of corridors. People with mobility problems should be warned of this.

Staff were excellent. Room was a generous size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very good breakfast.

I was in room 302. The walls were very thin. The 2 men in the adjacent room were awake until 3am my first night talking nonstop in very loud voices; the second night this went on until 5.30am. So I got only 4 hours sleep from 3-7 on the first night and less than 2 hours the second night. Also there was a terrible smell of drains in the bathroom. I mentioned this to the reception staff who were aware of the problem and instantly tried to resolve it but the smell persisted. Had I been staying longer I would have requested a room change

Location and staff were fantastic. Highly recommend this place for people who wants to be close to beach and downtown and have their own privacy without outside noise.

Only thing which need to be considered: Please put a bottle of water for the first day as guests arrive late and do not need to go for searching shop to but bottle of water and paying 3 € for small bottle of water at hotel does not give a good impression.

Really nice rooms, with good air con and fridge in room. Safe for an extra charge. Close to all amenities and sea front and the hotel corridors were spotlessly clean . Quiet at night .

We have stayed here several times when it was Las Rampas not Onas. Sadly they have cut corners. Rooms not cleaned daily. After a day out our bed and towels had not been changed. When asked at reception we’re told they only cleaned every other day. Waterfall not working.

Location was absolutely perfect and the room size was great. Hotel felt overall very clean and i was pleased with the cleanliness and daily cleanings of our room. The staff were super friendly and helpful, we were able to rent beach towels for a very small fee, and even check in at 11am

Ever so slightly noisy in the evenings and mornings, not particularly the hotels fault i think it was down to slightly thin walls and also cleaning carts being pushed along outside. But noise really wasn’t significant and didn’t disturb our stay
