Rooms were spotlessly clean, so spacious, bed comfortable, bathroom immaculately clean, plenty of hot water. The use of a small kitchenette in the room was an added bonus. The hotel is so close to the centre of Mons, less than 15 minute walk to train station, 10-20 minute walk to museums. Plenty of restaurant choices close by, very reasonably priced. The manager who checked us in was so professional & friendly. Plenty of parking around the hotel & very reasonably priced, can download an app & use to top up times for parking if not out & about using a car, which we did use very effectively.

The location is superb, and the old house is fascinating. Very large, the hotel extends out into a rear yard that is a lovely and quiet grassy area to hang out. We loved the tall ceilings and original features of the rooms, they were bright and airy. Our room also had excellent air conditioning which would be handy during summer. Barran, the receptionist was really lovely and easy to talk to. There is a wonderful common lounge where you can sit and chat, or play board games.

Not a lot to complain about. Some small issues that could be addressed - the water pressure and the shower heads could be improved. Also in our room, one of the wall sockets was located right behind the pillow on the bed, and I knocked a cable out three times during the night.

Greeted by student (studying "Social Innovation") was very helpful, showed us everything in the room, ( student accommodation in term time?) Only "observation" was safety aspect of electrical sockets & "overload" should be reviewed. Parking was convenient, even if you had to pay. We arrived Saturday afternoon for 1 night so didn't have to pay. Easy to find using sat nav. 10 min walk to city square. Plenty to see. Numerous restaurant lots of choice. Some entertainment Saturday afternoon. Unesco clock tower excellent, and bell ringing mechanism amazing! Would stay here again, fascinating building, very quiet at night, comfortable bed.

No plug for kitchen sink, so used stewing pot!

The location is fantastic for visiting Mons, 5 minutes from the main square which is where the Christmas market was located along with bars and restaurants. Nice character about the property.

As with other reviews I read before booking the rooms can be a bit chilly when cold outside due to age and size of rooms with no secondary glazing but didn’t spoil the stay! A coat rack/stand would be welcome plus some art on the walls

Very spacious, nice kitchen, great shower, room easy to access at any hour…first day I got breakfast delivered to the room the next morning, very nice!

No hotel-only parking spaces…Hard to get parking, then have to pay using the machine, 3 hours maximum ticket purchase…very noisy neighbourhood at all hours of night…could use some darker curtains, it was like daylight in the sleeping room all night long…light and noise!!! Not good! Second day, no breakfast showed up in the morning(not a big deal)…

The location near the center of Mons worked well for us, walking distance to several restaurants and a good grocery store, as well as near the Christmas market and historical sites. Although it is an older hotel, the bathroom has been properly modernized. The mini kitchenette was a useful addition.

Parking was a challenge, as was the weather in Mons. There could have been a bit more dishes and cutlery.

My lover and I really enjoyed this hotel because it has a kitchen so we could cook together. It was a lovely time and the hotel was very clean, everything was perfect and the receptionist gave us very good advice and guidance. My lover and I were impressed and there was a garden that looked comfortable and was also pet-friendly. We will definitely come back to stay here again 🫶🏻

Honestly, the apartment was just super. I really appreciated the fact that I had a small kitchen to prepare plates during the journey. It felt like home. 🙂

The distance between the station and the apartment is a bit long, especially in the evening when there's no public transport, but that's not a problem in itself.

Spacious, quiet, very well located, clean, friendly staff, easy parking. Comfortable bed, though small. Coffee pods provided for our one-night stay.

The room was not ready on our arrival. One of the reasons we chose the hotel was because the room was available from 2 pm. We arrived at 3, having informed the hotel of our arrival time. The photos did not correspond to the room. The terrace was not clean (not as a result of recent rain, but lack of maintenance). Only one bedside table and light. Small uncomfortable sofas. I was bitten by mosquitoes. The duvet was too warm for summer and there was no separate top sheet. The table was set for four, meaning we could not use the table except to eat. The general impression was that the hotel suffers from a general lack of maintenance.

Ideally located adjacent to a small public park and only a short walk from the Grand Place. Hotel St Georges accommodation offers generously proportioned apartments with period furniture which provides comfort in pleasant surroundings. Staff are polite and welcoming and fluent in several languages.

Access to the shower was a tight squeeze for a larger person.
