The German breakfast was simple but good. All day coffee was available at the foyer. There is a walking path next to the hotel along a stream for a nice late afternoon walk or before the sun set.

Parking lots in front of the hotel is limited but guest can park further down the street. Our room was on the ground floor which was good, but I cannot open the window as it will allow onlookers to peep into the room, a bit of street noise too but it is not a big issue.

Great location and parking can be an issue but not with the Hotel am Wasen. They have a large, safe parking agreement approximately 100 yards away. Free coffee & the included breakfast was a nice touch. OMG - breakfast was excellent with breads, jams, jellies, honey, cheeses, cold cut meats, fruits, scrambled eggs & sausage. Enough to eat to be filling. 5 stars in my book. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The facilities & room were exceptionally clean. Linen comfy & great hot & cold water for showering.

The idea of the stay was quick access to Stuttgart and it was perfectly located for my needs. The town of Freiberg itself looks quite nice and the proximity to Ludwigsburg with its fabulous castle as well makes the hotel a very good option for exploring the area. Breakfast was also pretty good - a good tonus for the day ahead.

The wi-fi was almost non-existing (at least in room 14 if it does matter).

This is the 2d stay at this hotel in Frieberg Am Neckar area and it is superb in all amenities. One thing I failed to mention on the 1st stay is the wonderful breakfast served each morning and the multiservice coffee machine. The meal offered if cold cuts, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, fruits, juices and of course breads. On future visits to the area, this is a go-to hotel.

Close to the A81. Small hotel with all that is necessary for an overnight. Good breakfast. Tea and coffee available for guests at the rest area.

My room (23) was over the entrance to the hotel. No matter no smoking policy inside the hotel, the smoke was coming into the room whenever someone was smoking outside the entrance 😕 Very annoying. The bedside lamp had scorched plastic around the bulb. It didn't look safe.

The wifi internet was bad. No internet connection in our room. The parking in front of the hotel was full of cars and I had to park my car on the road 150 meters away from the hotel.

There was an issue with check in. I booked two rooms but they could not find the second reservation. They admitted their mistake and gave us a great family suite as a replacement. Everything else was fine. Clean and warm rooms. Very good breakfast.

Strange but the receptionist did not speak English. However, they found a person who spoke, this helped.

Personal were very friendly. Also breakfast was very good from early morning, with big selection. Tea and coffee and water are at disposition all the time in the lobby. Free parking for the car, strong internet connection. And it's quite, not on a rush street.

Room could be a bit bigger.

Fantastic little hidden gem. Super friendly staff and great value. Rooms very clean and well appointed and breakfast provided
