This was the second time staying here. Very convenient from Calais (about 40 mins) and nice quiet country location. Grounds were beautiful. Parking was easy. The restaurant was very good and not too expensive. We had a nice room on the ground floor with a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. We would definitely stay here again! The area around the hotel looked really interesting and would like to explore next time.
We paid for our stay in the evening before we left (we left at 7.15am) and explained that we would not need breakfast. We were told that staff came in at 6.30am and would give us coffee and a croissant to take with us, so we said that would be great, thanks! However, when we came to check out, there was no-one about, the gates to reception and restaurant area were all locked! Left the keys hanging on the gates! Not a major disaster and we would stay again.

had an excellent stay at Chataeu du Cove on our final night of a 3 wk driving holiday. Only 20 mins from Calais but such a beautiful and relaxing place. The restaurant was really lovely and offered a 39€ 3 course menu. Excellent food. All the staff were very welcoming. Bed was good size and the room was really pretty
The room was quite warm (no air con) - a fan was provided but we kept the window open. Also a mini fridge would be good.

This is a wonderful Chateau and we love to visit and have stayed many times before. A very comfortable room, ( no noise issues at all) excellent bed and bathroom. Slippers and dressing gowns very welcome. The Restaurant and dinner were very good indeed. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Breakfast was delicious with good choices.
Unfortunately on this visit our room cleanliness wasn’t as good as usual. It had previously had a dog stay in it and the windowsill was covered in dust and dog hair and pieces of dog treats. When mentioned to Reception, they responded very positively and apologetically and said they would contact Housekeeping immediately.

We have stayed here before as it is a great place to stay near the Eurotunnel. The chateau itself is delightful and in lovely grounds. The highlight as previously is the evening meal which is excellent and good value. The room we had was quite small but perfectly adequate and the shower room was modern . Staff were helpful as before.
Bed mattress was uncomfortable. We gave up on having a drink in the bar as the person serving was also having to do the drinks in the restaurant. This was quite clearly too much for one person in the early evening.

Situated 20 mins from Calais port in a quiet country location. Room was very small but perfectly formed. Luxury bedding and super comfortable bed. Bathroom modern and clean. Restaurant served good food and service was good.
Breakfast was served until 10am but we arrived at 9am to find a lot of things had run out and could not be replaced despite the efforts of our very pleasant waitress ( No croissants left in a French restaurant ! ) Fruit salad appeared to be from a tin and not fresh. No natural yogourt. Cold meats were the remains of the platter. Disappointing in a hotel of this calibre.

It's a pleasant manoir set in its own grounds and within striking distance of the Channel Tunnel. The bed in our room was large, comfortable and with good pillows. The nicely decorated bathroom. The best thing however was dinner. A really fabulous meal. Not cheap but you do get what you pay for. We weren't there long enough to explore the whole building but it is beautifully decorated and is extremely comfortable. The staff were discreet but helpful.
No under cover parking for our two motorcycles especially as the weather was very wet when we arrived and over night. No lift, so you carry your own bags upstairs. No pool or sauna/steam room to relax in after a very long journey. I wish now that I had booked a larger room. Ours was rather small with most of the room taken up by the large bed but okay for an overnight stay. The meal we ate in the restaurant was wonderful but quite expensive (our choice). The property is quite remote so no choice to eat anywhere else without a drive. The booking was for room only, no breakfast included and would have been an extra 16 euros each.

Dinner was excellent. The cuisine is of a very high standard and more than compensated for the slightly limited number of options on the menu. We didn't have breakfast. Our room was one of the smaller sized rooms and less "chateau style" than we had expected but the bed was very comfortable, the bedlinen was high quality. The ensuite was large, with modern fittings and very hot water! Everything in the Chateau was was spotlessly clean. The gardens and grounds were extensive and well maintained. A very enjoyable stay and well worth a visit.
A wider choice on the menu and a slightly more "Chateau " style bedroom.

In a great position, very quiet and peaceful with lovely grounds. The bar area was comfy with soft leather arm chairs and beautiful stone floors and the dining room was full of light from large windows. The food was excellent and good value for the €39 menu. The bed was comfortable and the room nicely decorated if on the small side, low ceiling so rather warm during the night. It was a perfect overnight stay for us after leaving the Eurostar station.

I have eaten at some expensive restaurants and their evening dinner was probably the best I have ever eaten. We love it as a location and always visit if we are passing by rooms can be a little quirky, very large, cloth wall paper etc but are very comfortable. The grounds are lovely and there have been some big improvements in extra facilities like the wedding venue. The alcohol choices are immense and the bar comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in quiet location. Staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is very close to Calais which is one of the reasons we booked it. Fabulous food in the restaurant. We didn't have breakfast as we left early. Would certainly return.
The hotel met all my expectations and more. If you wanted to sample other restaurants or bars you would need to drive as the location is very quiet.
