It was a pleasant and quiet place to stay. I was skeptical to stay there although close to the fair ground so decided I would try the hotel out even though it looked old. I was hoping for clean. When we got to the room it was fresh and very new looking. The beds were new and comfortable. Very happy and will stay there again.
I was there for multiple nights and the room did not get refreshed. It would have been nice to get more towels and soap although I am sure we could have requested that.

The front desk person was polite, helpful and helped me through an error at my end. I was appreciative of his kindness and generosity. The area was close for the family.
For my aunt, space was limited, there wasn't enough room for her and her walker to walk through the room. The tv area was too close to the end of the beds. We managed and she enjoyed the nice bed. A suggestion, maybe, is to create one or two accessible rooms and bathrooms. She still loved the room, just not enough space for her and her walker.

The hotel was conveniently located for us to stay overnight after attending the Christmas Caravan Theatre production. The staff at check in was very nice. We were upgraded to a king room from a queen room. The room was spacious, the bathroom fairly new and the king bed was very comfortable. The coffee maker and fridge allowed us to bring some breakfast items for the next morning as there is no included breakfast. It was amazing value for the money.
Nothing.

Ideal location for our needs. Staff was friendly, and the room was clean. I liked that I could walk out our patio door to our parked car. And, there were several eateries within a couple of blocks.
Little things: we were provided with shampoo and conditioner, but no hand soap. And, the instant coffee provided was only of the decaffeinated variety.

We are a couple from Sorrento BC. Originally, I am from Vancouver, and he's from Montreal. We met 6 years ago and fell in love. Before we moved in together, he worked in Salmon Arm and lived in Canoe. I worked and lived in Sorrento. Due to our temporary living situation, we would meet somewhere in the middle and often get a room to just relax and plan for our future. Fast forward to the present. We both live in Sorrento. We managed to find a place on Blind Bay rd. 3 years. Only it was a very difficult expensive place to live during winter. His work had brought him the opportunity to live with a man with special needs. Both my parents are very sick, Sorrento, so I decided to move in with them in Notch Hill. It has been about 3 years since we had last stayed in hotels. We had always stayed in the Salmon Arm area. Due to my budget and a few other reasons. While committing to a two day getaway ( one that we would just "bubble" ourselves in and just be. I wanted to stay somewhere different and affordable. Usually, we just went as walk-ins. This was the first time I booked online. Armstrong is about a 40-minute drive. The photos on line were satisfactory, so I went ahead. I told them we would arrive in the evening at 8pm. We did. He had our reservation. We paid. The place was very clean. A huge bolten board that held business cards. Excellent. This hotel is located in town, and it's viewed from a major hwy. Between Kelowna, Vernon...Enderby, and so on. So very busy and loud. The room was freshly painted. Huge cinder blocks of cement. I understood from that moment that it was going to be very peaceful and quiet. From the traffic to other guests. Great indicator that you will have a peaceful sleep, no noise when you stay at a place that is built properly! They provide a patio and a table for the smoking. The fridge was great! Kept our stuff cool. It was hot outside but not inside.
I didn't like the fact that I had to leave!!! Lol...I honestly, I can't think of anything! This is honestly a first! Well done. Hard-working Canadians!

I was struck with how clean the property was. It was also very quiet so I slept very well on the comfortable bed. The location was excellent, within walking distance of several eateries and a grocery store.
They need to provide either a bathmat or decals in the tub. I found taking a shower a little scary as there wasn't any traction on the floor of the tub. A grab bar would also have been appreciated.

The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly. He offered me two room options - Queen with a balcony or King bed without a balcony. We opted for the room with the king. The room was very spacious and clean. The walls had been freshly painted a couple of weeks ago. Nice floors and bathroom. The bed was comfy, and it was very peaceful. The exterior and main areas of the inn are just average, but the rooms was great and I’d stay there again for sure. It was a nicer room than I expected - I was pleasantly surprised. I was very satisfied was my stay, the service and room - thank you.

I had booked the room for my Auntie, she raved about the bed. Considering that it is a older inn. They have kept up with repairs and decor to keep it fresh looking. Overall my auntie really enjoyed her stay. She slept well .. near by restaurants and grocery store, drug store. ideal area for Inn.
My auntie, could hear other guests above and beside in her room. But overall, she was able to get a good sleep.

We enjoyed our time at the Inn. The owner was very accommodating to all our needs and was very friendly and helpful. Very pet friendly. I highly recommend the Inn.
I can't think of anything. A suggestion could be to have a vending machine in the building to get bottled water, etc. But they are across the street from a grocery store so it's not a big deal. It does have a fridge in the room so that was good.
