Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and a very clean Swimmingpool . I would definitely choose the motel again if I visit Yosemite Nationalpark . Short way to the park and the hotel is worth the money you pay. The only negativ was the breakfast not because of the food but they use a lot of plastic . Plastic cups , knives, fork spoon , plates . Everybody has to think about the plastic pollution and need to reduce the waste. For example they have hard cooked breakfast eggs , they peel the eggs and put them in a plastic box. You can just boil the eggs and customers can peel them so you don’t have to use plastic boxes.

The comfort of the bed, the size of the room. I only stayed for one night and left early in the morning. It was only one hour drive to Yosemite park, so it had a great location. The staff was friendly while checking in. It's a short walk into town that offers a great sunset atmosphere.
The walls were thin, for example I heard the tv from another room. What was loud during the night was the sound of refilling of water tanks for a toilet (I assume), that woke me up and was a surprise. I think that it was a bit expensive, but I also booked one day before and paid around $ 200, I don't know if that is standard but compared to other motels that are close to Yosemite park, it was the cheapest.

Older property but has had a recent remodel. The staff was helpful on answering questions, the included breakfast included options for most diets, and the pool, while small, was very nice. It was also next to the Yart bus stop which took us all the way to Yosemite for $6.00 each way allowing us to watch the scenery along the way.
The town itself is small and the restaurants on the high side price wise, saying that, a new restaurant was opening adjacent to the hotel the following week and the menu preview looked good

All usual motel facilities and everything worked fine. Might want to think about hard as opposed to carpet flooring on next refurb as a bit dusty. Price point is high but low for Mariposa which after all is a gateway to Yosemite. There is a breakfast which will not be to everybody's taste but it gets you going in the morning and we really appreciated it. There is also a diner on site so not far to go to eat in the evening.
The All American Environmental Disaster for breakfast is unfortunately present here. Disposable everything, polystyrene, single use plastics and everything thrown together into landfill. An Environmental Policy is more than a note in the bathroom about towels.

I really enjoyed the spaciousness of the room, complemented by excellent amenities including a well-functioning air conditioner, refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom was stunningly beautiful and functional, especially the sink located outside the main area. The comfort was enhanced by a cozy balcony, a soft sofa with a coffee table, and interesting paintings from the late 19th to early 20th century. The proximity of an ice vending machine was also very convenient. My stay was exceptionally peaceful and comfortable.
I really enjoyed my stay, and amusingly, on the very day I was there, nearby fields were burning, which brought a lot of smoke and soot. This did not detract from the hotel experience itself, which was still outstanding, but it certainly added a unique twist to my visit!

Good clean and generous size rooms, friendly and accommodating staff. Lots of facilities like pool etc.
I stayed when a few other rooms had young families and the noise traveled very easily between rooms and down to corridors. My room had a 'joining-door' between rooms that let the noise / conversations across easily. The website / Booking.com account has not been updated to say that the nearby Restaurant is closed for renovation.

Was going to visit Yosemite but didn't want to pay the prices being closer to the park. The Miners' Inn in Mariposa was a compromise about an hour from Yosemite Valley. Splurged for a room with a hot tub, which was very nice after a day of hiking! Also, the rooms with hot tubs are next to the check-in and breakfast room.
Not a lot of dining options in Mariposa after 8pm in the evening. Our first night, the desk clerk recommended dinner at the 1890 Restaurant, and we were quite pleased. Second night, we got back after 8pm and ended up driving to Merced for a teeny bit of nightlife.

We had the room with a bubble bath - fantastic. But also besides that the place exceeded our expectations. It was clean, roomy, comfortable and had friendly staff. A wonderful bed, too. Things look a little dated (to put mildly - the '80s want their stuff back) but it is well maintained.
The hair dryer was so old it made more noise than air and honestly was scary to use. Luckily the rest of the stuff stood the test of time a little better. Another thing is the location - it's cute, for sure, and there are some nice things around, but it's still basically the middle of nowhere. But going from there to the parks is of course easy and it makes for a great 'base of operations'.

Great stay for the money, nice DIY waffle breakfast with enough alternatives. Good location close to the highways 120 and 140 and therefore perfect for trips to Yosemite if you are traveling on a smaller budget. Also both routes to the park are beautiful! The personnel were sweet and helpful when needed. The room was big and equipped with a microwave and a small fridge as well as a coffee maker and a TV. Can recommend it!
Nothing really. Parts of the interior have seen better days, but everything was fine and did its job. If you are renting a room there, you should expect a simple inn and you will have nothing to complain about, especially for the really good price. If I had to complain, it would be that the fridge was quite loud.

The beds were very comfortable and much better than the usual hotel bed. The room was very spacious and everything in the bathroom worked well. The breakfast is simple, but high quality. There is a great coffee house across the street - Pony Expresso. The hotel is a little off the road so the road noise is not too bad. The Fremont Building is the best.
Double pane windows would help so much with road noise. The back up sound from the fork lift at the lumbar yard next door acted like a morning alarm due to the single pane window.
