This property in the town of Mariposa was comfortable and safe. We were impressed by the quaint little town and everything it offers. The Quality Inn is at one end of the town in a convenient location on the way to Yosemite N.P. The room was very clean and the breakfast provided had sufficient choices for the different tastes. The hotel includes a small pool and hot tub which nicely complement a day of hiking in Yosemite. I’d definitely consider this property at my next opportunity.

The dining area is large enough for the hotel but at times it gets very busy so it’d be good to ask the staff for the lighter periods to go.

Staff is nice, location is also good as it's close to a grocery store and nice restaurants in Mariposa. The pool was a nice added bonus that we definitely appreciated. We also really enjoyed breakfast, which was very generous - make sure you try making yourself a waffle! Overall it was a good experience and we would stay again.

Hotel/motel is dated, facilities are quite old so a renovation is overdue. But if you are planning to just stay here for a quick access to Yosemite, we'd recommend it - for less $ you get much better value than staying in a tent with shared bathrooms in stuff in a camp somewhere.

Location was great, right next to small historical town of Mariposa and good food options. pool and hot jacuzzi were excellent.

Encountered 2 of 3 young staff who were just plain rude to us and others including on the phone. We and others were also told all eating establishments were closed on a Monday and Tuesday. Caused distress to multiple customers. Later found out several were open. But beware out of peak season this likely.

Great location if you're looking to make a drive to Yosemite National Park in the morning. Reasonably priced for the location and therefore good value for money. Great hotel to stay at if you're traveling as a solo-traveler or even better if you're traveling as a couple or group.

Limited dairy-free options for breakfast. Eggs and meat are placed in the same location, which for vegetarians or vegans is not the best sight. Would hope the hotel pays attention to these small things to provide a better, more inclusive environment for all customers.

The breakfast was good. I think there could have been more variety with the choices for cereal. It would have been great to have additiobal types of fruit such as bananas. The main breakfast items are the waffles, toast, english muffins and the eggs and sausage. The room was clean and confortable and the beds were very soft and comfortable.

The shower head was too low. I am 5 '11" and had to bend down to wash my hair.

I enjoyed the location it’s right next to downtown. We booked in the Willow House which is a building available near the main hotel building. I enjoyed how neat and clean rooms were. The breakfast was delicious they have a waffle maker which is my husband’s favorite amenity when it comes to booking a hotel must have waffle maker. There was a line for waffle maker so very popular amenity 🙂

I didn’t like that the doors don’t stay locked when the door handle is swiveled by my toddler who can easily get out of room no other locks are installed. Also did not like the closets not having doors and no Smart TV’s. Our building was smoke free zone however, as we were leaving from our weekend stay there was heavy smell of smoke in our building.

Buffet Breakfast was good, varied selection. The rooms were very comfortable. The location is ideal for anyone intending to spend some time in Yosemite. Good selection of restaurants - some expensive - and boutiques. The plus for our group was the outdoor swimming pool. After a long day in Yosemite it was lovely to relax in sunshine in the pool.

it is up quite a steep hill which can be a problem for some.

I've stayed here a few times already. I've yet to have a bad experience. The hotel is in a great location. It is close to food, gas, and Yosemite. If going to Yosemite, staying in Mariposa is generally cheaper than staying closer, like El Portal.

Although there are mini fridges in each room, you will not find a microwave in the rooms. To heat up your food, you must go to the dining area near the front desk. That's my only complaint.

We love this location and have stayed here a couple times. The rooms are always clean and we like where it's located not only in Mariposa but to Yosemite. Everyone is always nice when we stay there. We always ask for extra pillows and towels and they made sure to have them in the room when we checked in.

The only negative thing that happened in out last stay was when taking a shower in the evening the hotel ran out of hot water, At first we thought it was a problem with the room but noticed it's when all the rooms are showering at the same time there is not hot water. This has nit happened on previous stays but my husband and I had to take cold showers the whole trip and to bath our 1.5 year old we had to heat water in the microwave.

Breakfast was adequate Location was good, quiet spot.

Customer service could be better. Was hot the first day and A/C wasn’t working - I’ll refer it to maintenance to check it tomorrow. Toaster not working - after verifying it didn’t work, it will go on the list for maintenance tomorrow. (Might have just swapped it over in a large establishment like this)
