It’s located about an hour from Yosemite National Park. Although I consider that far, it’s located near a lot of restaurants and stores. The room was spotless. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. There are dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. There are also dispensers for hand soap and lotion by the sink. However, they were empty. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We slept well. The shower had good water pressure. There’s plenty of room for the clothes. There’s no lift so we had to take the stairs to the third floor with all our stuff. I wished there’s an ice machine on the third floor because we had to go to the ground floor using stairs to get ice. I have bad knees so it’s a little difficult. Aside from that, it was great. The breakfast was also good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
No lift to get to upper floors. No ice machine to third floor. The one on second floor was out of service. So we had to go to the ground floor. The hand soap and lotion dispensers were empty.

This is a generic chain hotel, and as can and should be expected parking is free and breakfast is included. Mariposa is a tiny town so everything is within walking distance. Yosemite National Park is about an hour’s drive away though. My room was quiet and on the top floor, as per my request. Shower water pressure was excellent and WiFi was strong and stable. The coffee served at breakfast was weak and tasteless; however, there’s a coffee machine in the lobby with complimentary espresso, latte etc. My previous experiences with Best Western are mixed. I was quite happy with this hotel though, largely thanks to the staff who were friendly, courteous and helpful at all times. A special shoutout to the gentleman at the front desk (Patrick?), who not only let me check in early, but also took the time to provide lots of valuable information about the town, about Yosemite and how to drive there etc.
I know it’s standard at this kind of hotel, but I’m not a fan of the room layout where the bathroom sink and mirror are more or less in the room, separated from the rest of the bathroom, ie from the tub/shower and the toilet. It’s just not very practical, I find. The bed was not very comfortable, unfortunately - too soft for my taste and with a strangely uneven, “lumpy” mattress. Housekeeping did a good job, generally speaking, just watch out for those long black hairs (that aren’t mine!) that you leave behind… Breakfast: please provide a dairy free option (almond milk, soy milk) that is not sweetened. The exercise room: come on, you can do better! Upgrade the equipment in there and people might actually use that room.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous. Totally exceeded our expectations for this price point. The room was spacious and the shower nice and hot. The kids loved having a bath with a proper plug to splash around in. Great opening times for the guest laundry. Good sized fridge in the room. Location was great, close to Yosemite Valley, but in a town so you could get things you needed. The font desk staff were fabulous, went out of their way to explain the town and answer any questions. The hot and cold beverages available anytime in reception were a nice touch. Great lighting in the room, I could actually see into my suitcase 🤣.

Fabulous hotel, which was clean and had very friendly knowledgeable staff. A map of Mariposa was provided on arrival with details of the local area, including restaurants, etc. We were very happy with the recommendations given. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was all freshly cooked. Staff also helped with information relating to Yosemite, which was well received. If in the area again, I will definitely look to book here again.
Visit too short, would have like a couple of extra days.

Better priced accommodation for Yosemite than many others. Reviews better too. Comfortable, warm, two Queen bedded room. Old fashioned dark wood with burgundy and mustard interiors. Modern, clean bathroom. Parking and WiFi free. Breakfast included which was a basic continental with a bit of cooked. Hours drive into the park. Good choice of restaurants in town.
Not overly keen on decor choice. Avoid Nayo's mexican restaurant opposite, try one of the other two (poor food and service)

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Yosemite Way Station, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location with close proximity to nature, making it an ideal choice for those wanting to explore the great outdoors. The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, contributing to a very pleasant stay. The breakfast offered each morning was delicious and a great way to start the day. Additionally, the tranquility of the area added to the overall relaxation and comfort of the stay. The location of the hotel is excellent, providing easy access to nearby attractions and natural landscapes. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I would highly recommend the Best Western Plus Yosemite Way Station for anyone visiting the area.
However, I did notice a minor area for improvement: a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the hallways and walkways could enhance the experience. While the carpets appeared clean, they could benefit from a bit more thorough cleaning.

Convenient to the local restaurants and other necessities. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful. Plenty of on site parking.
The guest laundry and adjoining areas were very hot despite the air conditioning being in during the morning for breakfast. The dryers broke on us and became unusable. The outside facilities need some TLC. The hotel is old and looks it. The ice machine on our floor was out of order the three days of our stay.

As many others have pointed out: the front desk staff at this place is amazing, especially Brandie. As a woman travelling solo the friendliness of the staff helped me feel at ease. The pool and hot tub are amazing after a long day of hiking. I did my laudry while I was there and that was great, too. The gym is very basic but did the trick! Breakfast is good, too. I would certainly stay again!
The rooms are a little dated and could use updating. Everything else is so amazing (staff, free parking, breakfast) that it makes up for the lack of room amenities. But mattresses and carpets need exchanging eventually!

I am so pleased we decided to stay at the Best Western PLUS in Mariposa. Check in was quick and smooth with Brandie giving us recommendations on restaurants, which were all incredible. Her hospitality aswell as all the staff we encounted during our trip were so friendly, welcoming and just really lovely helpful people. We stayed in room 301 which was incredible. Spacious room with a soft and comfortable large bed, great shower pressure. Breakfast was buffet style with my favourites being the sausage and egg. The staff are really accommodating and offered a grab and go breakfast which you can do during breakfast hours or if you are setting out early, like us, they will prepare a take away box which a selection of breakfast items. 10/10 and whenever we may visit the area again we will be staying here. Thank you to the staff who made us feel so looked after.

This hotel is as close to Yosemite National Park as we could afford - about 40 miles. We liked the town and the people we met at the restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. It had good variety and was well-prepared. Of the places we've traveled, this was top notch. Chris, at the front desk was friendly and very helpful.
There was really nothing not to like about this hotel. Parking at the second level, west side of the building was conveniently close to the breakfast area.
