I loved the large room we were offered when the room we had booked proved to be too small. It had a lovely bathroom and my husband loved the freestanding tub. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We also spent most evenings in the den which was huge, warm and very comfortable.

The outside and outside entrance hall are not appealing and need some work but once you are in the inner hall it is far more appealing. There are building works on both side of the building which didn’t look great but whilst we were there the noise was not an issue for us. The owners are new to the property and I think will be changing the linens which weren’t great. The curtains could also do with changing and the provision of bedside lighting would have been brilliant.

The building is a wonderful house converted to a BnB style spot. The room appointments are premium feeling and comfortable with particularly comfortable beds. The Elk room has an awesome kid nook accessed through the bathroom with a TV and two kid sized loungers. It made my 8yo not want to leave… ever.

We didn’t get to stay longer!

John and Kaylee were exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue with another reservation elsewhere. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel completely at home. They helped make our stay in Colorado truly memorable.

The only thing that could have made it better was staying a little longer.

This location was excellent and a very friendly staff. We were celebrating two birthdays in the family and they were happy to celebrate with us! The rooms were large and cozy, and the commons space was delightful. The bar was a great place to hang out for apres ski and the house was within walking distance of downtown Winter Park. We hope to stay again!

Loved the renovated home with a beautiful blend of modern upgrades and historical charm! The owner, manager and team are excellent! They will take care of you and really want your stay to be an exceptional experience! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for quiet and intimate.

Very friendly staff. Had a nice time talking with a staff member at the private bar. The jacuzzi was great too. Laundry facilities were very useful. The room was nice and comfortable. They accommodated my desire to stay an extra night.

No free breakfast, only paid breakfast.

This was a last minute trip to Winter Park for a weekend getaway. The Chateau was an incredible surprise. The staff, quality of the room and cleanliness were absolutely exceptional! Highly recommend for a boutique hotel experience.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The rooms are big, so nicely decorated and the staff is very kind. We loved our stay at this beautiful chateau and would highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a peaceful, stylish, clean and most comfortable place to stay. Great value for money!

we liked everything about this place

Great place to stay a couple of days. The communal area is great it will be a nice meeting point in ski season. If I was there to ski would hope they would provide breakfast. Liked the 2 way entry to our room. Hot tub was a bonus.

Soundproofing between rooms especially plumbing could do with improvement. Not much hanging space if you travel with a lot of luggage or are wanting to stay longer than a couple of days but that is a minor point,

The owner was on-site several times during our stay and was very helpful and informative. They did a very nice job of remodeling the property to make it a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and had great water pressure and the bathroom was clean. Our room also had a small bonus room called the Cub Den for young kids or young adults (our boys are 17 & 20) to sit in and have their own private space.

Our only complaint would be that the parking was somewhat limited when they had a full house of guests.
