Breakfast is buffet. There is a variety of food to choose from. Very nice beginning of the day. A nice sit down area. Very attractive. Staff are wonderful. Rooms are large both living room and bedroom. Location is near several stores, restaurants, and main highways and boulevards. Large parking lot. Hilton Honors application is very helpful.

Booking.com didn't return a refund for reservation 5888569897. Homewood Suites issue a statement through Booking.com that the reservation was cancelled with no penalty. Booking.com is required to issue the refund because the reservation was made with them. The reservation was canceled due a medical emergency for my wife. United Airlines made an emergency landing at St. John's, Canada on 3 September where we were transffered by ambulance to a hospital ICU. My wife was stabilized and we continued the trip to Homewood Suites Falls Church on 5 September. As for Homewood Suites, I highly recommend this facility. Home away from home.

- Very old furniture and old carpets - Smaller room than expected. We didn't have enough beds for the number of people we had booked for. I booked for 5 persons, but there was space only for 4. Fortunately, the service desk staff provided a roll-up bed for my daughter to solve the issue - The AC only works for a few minutes at a time no matter the setting. This made the room feel uncomfortable even with constant fidgeting - The majority of the breakfast ladies were very polite and helpful, with the exception of a little lady with dreadlocks who was very disrespectful and bad-mannered.

The breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel in a long time. Place was exceptionally clean! Staff was really, really helpful and friendly.

The beds were double beds, we didnt catch that when booking. My 17 year old ended up sleeping on the sofa, which was extremely hard...however, the staff brought us up a roll up bed and bedding and he put that mattress of the sofa. He said it wasn't too bad. Place needs some updating, but it worked beautifully for our family

the staff was amazing - super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice as well. It could have lasted a bit longer. The pool was a highlight for my son. The location was great - the movie complex and shops were all within walking distance.

We had a problem with the hot water in the shower. Maintenance did a repair on the shower but the hot water issue was not completely resolved.

How close it was to Mosaic districts and to shopping plazas

We waited quite a bit for laundry, the dryers were always taken or someone stuff sat in there the entire day. Gym is very very tiny

Having the one bedroom made it feel much less like a temporary stay and felt like our own space.

Lover the pool and jacuzzi! Big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were a bonus. Lovely experience......this will be our "go to" hotel in NoVa!

The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The location was excellent. It was surrounded by restaurants and shopping. We loved the kitchen and sitting room. The breakfast was excellent. It offered a wide variety of choices.
