Another marvellous stay at Barrosa Palace for a special family group visit. We’ve stayed before and there have been some changes and improvements since and mostly all for the better. Fantastic breakfast experience each morning. Lovely pool/garden area and location adjacent to beautiful beach. All of the staff encountered were wonderful - very pleasant, helpful, efficient and charming.

Basically no complaints. By way of feedback - the only slightly negative comment would be associated with the redeveloped beach ‘chiringuito’ facility ‘Serena’. We personally were not too impressed compared with before. Maybe trying to a bit too upmarket for our taste and the staff there were not as efficient and pleasant as in the main hotel and slow service. Didn’t have any real effect on our overall stay though and the many positives certainly outweighed this very slight negative.

Superb hotel, our second time here and we’ll definitely be back again! The hotel is luxurious while also being family friendly, which is not easy to achieve. Love the buffet breakfast, rooms, pool, and chiringuito, as well as the lovely staff. Wish our stay could have been longer!

Could be better air con in common areas, though I understand there may be a government restriction in place

This one of 4 Hipotels at this area. This one is 5 stars, whereas others are 4 stars. During our trip we stayed at several Hipotels and can fairly say that this one is worth each euro spent. All starts at breakfast and dinner, they are delicious, you can find everything you want, food is of high quality. When it comes to rooms, you have everything you need: a place to dry swimsuits, a safe, a fridge, TV with Chromecast support, a chair and a table to work, highspeed Internet, and what was very important to us: hard mattresses. Their fitness center is also good. However, it's missing pull up and dip bars. That was also to see few kids during our stay comparing to other Hipotels. We'll come again here 100%.

Unfortunately, our room was located on the 2nd floor right above bar/kitchen/restaurant. We could hear some machines working from 7 in the morning until 1 at night, so we could sleep only 6 hours per day. This was the only issue, which I would consider minor, comparing to all other benefits. I wish they had pull up and dip bars in the fitness center.

the hotel is a five star as well as the employees who look after you throughout.

the hotel itself is very nice Ricardo at reception receives you with a glass of cava or juice, the yoga, Pilates classes with Manon are great, spa fantastic Ana and Aurora are superb! , food at breakfast and dinner buffet well worth it Quique, Mila, Miguel always there for anything you need- Maria Jose at the meat section at restaurant always happy, the whole experience is quality- the clientele is classy, the beach La Barrosa one of the best in spain great for long walks on clean long clear waters beach. it is a 5 star hotel where they make sure everything is to your liking. Thank you once again we will of course return.

The sunbeds on the beach come at extra cost, not necessarily that bad but it wasn’t clear A bit of drive till Cadiz, about 40min

Love the beach, the views, the location is amazing, supermarket close by very convinient, the evenings events, the swimingpool and the facilities in general but specially the customer service from the staff, from cleaners, at the reception, at the breakfast, swimingpool, bar, spa. Super kind and polite. Very much appreciated!

The quality of body and hair products and also missing beauty amenities. The food from roomservice: we asked if the product was fresh but unfortunately was frozen food (chicken, vegetables and fries). Better quality food will be appreciated for a 5 stars hotel in my opinion.

Another wonderful stay and we love this hotel. Marvellous, efficient, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pool and garden area to relax in and nice external pool bar / eating area. Beautiful beach very short walk away via boardwalk.

Basically all was good for us Not very keen on the separate Serena beach bar facility and the service there

The staff were incredible, they upgraded us to the superior double room after finding out it was our honeymoon - we had a stunning view and amazingly huge room. The facilities and the buffet were incredible, as was the pool side bar. Fresh fruit was offered to us while at the pool, early morning. Super easy assess to La Barrosa beach.

Guests had reserved their spots at the pool very early in the morning and did not seem to be using their spots at all throughout the day, leaving us far back from the pool or with nowhere to sit.

Exceptional hotel and great value for money compared to other nearby hotels. Recently refurbished in a very tasteful fashion. We had a junior suite facing the pool which was phenomenal and extremely spacious. Breakfast fabulous. Location perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not too crowded and always easy to find a sun bed, outdoor table at breakfast etc. The Serena chiringuito is also the best one on La Barrosa beach.

We were room only basis which suited our needs, staff were very friendly and hotel is beautiful.

We ordered room service on our first night and the Patas Frites were cold, we understand the time scale of getting the food from the kitchen to our room but still, these were very disappointing.
