Iberostar is iberostar. Everything was very very good.

Beach was always full of sea greens. One day beach was totally green. Resort is kind of small.

What I loved about the resort was how friendly everyone was! I felt safe being at the resort. It was a beautiful place. The resort was well kept and the views were amazing. There was so much room at this place. I loved the fact that the beach was only a few feet away from our hotel room. The price was amazing for everything that was included. There were so many options of breakfast and food! Our family definitely very much enjoyed the Japanese/hibachi. We ended up eating there 3 times during our stay there because the food was great and the experience was amazing! The pool was clean and well kept. Staff were constantly out cleaning things. There were so many great places to take pictures. The peacocks on the resort were cool to see! There are so many different thing and activities to participate in and keep you busy while staying on the resort.

The only thing that I didn’t like on the resort was some of the experiences while on the beach. There were people who owned their own shops somewhere near or on the beach that were persistently attempting to sell you things. Even when you say no they would take a few minutes of just standing there and not walking away. This happened multiple times while being on the beach and it happened every day! Which definitely made it hard to relax and enjoy the beach. Also, no fault of the resort at all! But it was a red flag so we weren’t able to enjoy going in the ocean as much as we wanted to due to the lifeguards enforcing that people weren’t able to go in the water.

I enjoyed the food, the pool, workers were very helpful and welcoming/ accommodating

I found the room central air interesting, room wasn’t as cool as it could be and I know I don’t have control of the light and the switch but it was a bit confusing. Would had liked more lights and brighter in the room.

I have been to many resorts and the food is always terrible, but Iberostar Costa Dorada has the best of the best. The beds are comfortable. All the staff members are great from the beginning to the end of your stay. The pool, the beach and activities are great. Santo at the buffet makes you and your family feel at home and cared and Peter at check in(front desk) makes you feel welcomed and treats you with respect.

Two things for me, the check in time on booking says it’s 2:00pm then you go to the resort webpage is different and the. When you get to front desk to check In is different from the previous two. Although you can still check in but not get your room available, you still can enjoy the property so it’s not as terrible.

The staff was very friendly. Always smiling with the guest.

Have to do an upgrade in the rooms assigned to us, Building 4. Smelled musty, old furnitures and bathroom.

Breadfast was excellent and the 24 hour restaurant; did not like the Mexican restaurant- food was very poor and the host did not clarify that we had to purchase the wine or the champagne. We were happy with the Chinese restaurant. Upon our arrival we got there at around 4:40 pm and we were not able to reserve for dinner that night , a little uncomfortable about that.

Oops mention that above, Mexican restaurant not good at all; area of the beach 🏖 not too clean. TV 📺 was not set to view channels, the door 🚪 card was not working upon arrival of my room , the luggage assistance had to run to the lobby to get new card to open the room so that wait took time out of our stay there.

Quick drive from the airport, easy check-in, rooms were clean and kept cool, a lot of water stations for refills, plenty of pool and beach chairs so you don’t need to fight for one, clean beach and great buffet from breakfast/lunch/dinner. Calmer than Punta Cana and easy to relax.

I’d skip the actual restaurants - they were subpar and the buffet had better food.

A good variety of food in my opinion.. The Japanese restaurant was excellent, highly recommended.. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping did a very good job. The pool was very clean, and the beach was very nice..

Check in is in desperate need of an upgrade.. Very slow check in process.. Took over an hour waiting on line and checking in, and one of our room was not ready, even though we waited an hour. (4pm). Rooms need a little more update and maintenance.. Sink faucet was loose, one of the safe was not good, some outlets didn't work..

This property exceeded our initial expectations and was one of our favorites out of the three different resorts we visited during our trip. The highlights were the exceptional staff and awesome meals. We checked in and even though reservations for dinner were supposed to be done in the morning one of the staff helped us get into the Japanese restaurant that night for my birthday and even had a birthday cake delivered to our room for no charge. Our room was amazing with an ocean view and would definitely come back to stay if we have the opportunity.

On site parking was small and filled up fast so since we left the property multiple times to visit our sons staying at an Airbnb we were forced to park off property so would have preferred for there to be a better parking situation but not that big of a deal since the walk was not that far and there appeared to be security to watch over our vehicle.

I liked the convenience of having everything close by. We didn't have to walk much for pools, beach or buffet.

It's outdated. For the price you would expect higher quality rooms or lounge areas. We reserved two rooms and both rooms refrigerator barely worked. We informed the staff and they said they didn't have a replacement at that moment. Otherwise we enjoyed everything else.
