It's a friendly place with polite and usually helpful staff. Breakfast is nice enough and you pay extra for eggs and most protein. Great whale watching from the sun loungers. I stayed 2 nights in a 'Courtyard view' room, went to Aitutaki and then 2 nights 'Mountain view'. The first was a dated room overlooking passageways and not relaxing, I would have paid for an upgrade if it had been possible. The slightly better room was an enormous improvement. Staff try to be helpful, it's easy to get about by bus or taxi. The transfer driver to the sister hotel is very helpful also. Adults only is great!

The first stay pre Aitutaki was chaotic but it was very busy. The room booked was the 'Courtyard view' which was a mistake. Zero outside space and noisy, but more comfortable with a better room.

The pool and outside bar are stunning!

Hard to say didn’t like but more aesthetic gardens out by the Tamure Rooms and Apartments would be nice. Also that there is only 1 smokers area which was on the complete opposite side of the resort to our room. Also needs to be a note about the $350 charge when you arrive as I assumed it was part of my booking price. The buffets were a bit expensive for people who don’t eat more than one plate.

Staff were fantastic nothing to much trouble always delivered with a smile always cleaning Restaurant food was good and large meals bar snacks were very good and all prices were reasonable

It looked like the place had a had a spruce up And was tidy the bathrooms were repainted and were a little slapdash they needed a tidy and the accessories replaced as the plastic ones were very old (70-80’s) and shower was very small I don’t know how the rather large patrons got on but would have had got in

The staff were A-MA-ZING!! The continental breakfast was fantastic, more than just cornflakes and toast. The optional extras were a very reasonable price as well. The room was sop handy to everything. We didn't hear the roosters from the room at all during the night, other than a little in the bathroom, but close the door and it was quiet...unlike a lot of other accommodations we heard about. The staff made us feel like VIPs, from the moment we arrived until checkout. Jalapeno's Restaurant - Best ribs on the island, and the prawns are to die for!

The only suggestions I would make is that the shower box was small, but not a deal breaker. And with it being an adults only, maybe a Quiz night or even a live musician playing in the bar on the weekend maybe to sit and chill with a few drinks and some great music.

Loved it was adults only. Breakfast was good for continental, good range of options of cereal, fruit, toast. Could order cooked breaky off the menu at reasonable price. All food ordered was great. Loved happy hour. I also love the sea so had a few swims out the front. Easy to catch the shuttle to Edgewater resort. Walked into town a few times took 20mins. Staff super friendly and helpful. Would happily go back to stay as it ticked all of our boxes of what we wanted in a resort.

Different surcharge rates for using card to pay. Depending on the days, some times no surcharge, other days 1% and then 3% on weekends.

We had a group of seven of us all family in 5he first week and eight in the second week. Loved that it was adults only. The staff were all amazing, the food was great and the entertainment was awesome! Room was also very comfortable. Had a great Outlook of the ocean from the resort and we even saw whales on our first day! The cocktails were great, especially during their extended happy hour. Loved the swim up bar, even though the pool was a bit cold.

Can't really think of anything we didn't like! We didn't have a great view from our room, but the location right next to reception made up for this!

We loved our first trip to Rarotonga. Club Raro was fantastic. Very friendly staff, we loved Papa Tom, he is absolutely delightful and funny. TereMoana was also lovely to us and helpful. Everybody was actually. It was easy to rent a car, We will be coming back next year and will try the poolside rooms next time. The main attraction why we chose Club Raro was because it was Adult only, We also loved the fact it was smaller than alot of the others and close to town and the airport.

I didn't think the reservation through Booking .com was as smooth as I hoped, so I will be booking directly next time with the Hotel. The payments did not go through smoothly at all.

We have stayed at an Airbnb and a motel before on the island, they were great but nothing compared to Club Raro Resort. Club Raro was an excellent place to stay, the food was 10/10…. The best on the island. The staff were just amazing in every way, always there to help out regardless of time. The beds are extremely comfortable and our house keeper (Abba) was just beautiful, she really looked after us. The grounds are lovely, well cared for and always looking fabulous. We would return tomorrow if we could. For us this 10 night stay was a 10/10, we absolutely loved it. Added bonus was: Miss Kitty the cat, very well looked after and loved by the staff, she was beautiful. P.S the dessert cocktails are the best I’ve had.

The resort is still upgrading rooms, but even if the room is a little dated it wouldn’t matter, because the rest of the resort is fantastic.

Loved how the resort had everything we needed, was nice not to be over crowded. The staff are amazing so friendly always Kean for a chat, great value for money the beds where comfy as, air con was great. Cheack out there event nights so you don't clash with other bookings. Food was really nice and available 11am till 9pm. Cocktails are yummy beautiful veiw from the bar.

The bathroom was a little out dated small shower. Its adults only but bar shuts at 9 which we found was a little early. The beach was not perfect but still we had a swim paddle seen some beautiful we fish.

Lovely staff,nice and clean, beautiful view, even saw whales swimming past playing while at the bar in the afternoons. Really enjoyed our stay here and would go back.

If I was to be picky, the bathroom was a bit run down the shower leaked so used alot of towels, the bed was a little on the hard side and our room had no t.v witch didn't bother us but might someone else. Also, the walls are really thin, so if you get noisy neighbors, it's not fun. That being said we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back clean tidy and wonderful staff.
