Ok first I book the hotel I think back in December for a show in March... it was not the room I thought. My original thought was I booked room with a spa bathtub...it was a stand up shower...also we thought the pool had a hot tub, which it did but it was under construction which we did not know nor did they tell us when we got there. The hotel is pink...and rather big. It is really nice and fancy otherwise it had different types of rooms. It made me think it was perfect for like a wedding where you had to fly a big family in from somewhere and they could all stay in the hotel. I would go back if the price was right and the hot tub was working. Also I thought I was getting breakfast cause I booked through Booking and they made me pay for breakfast...and it was just the continental breakfast you get free anyway..

I always stay here when I come home to visit. It's a nice location and very close to my family and clean! I will say a lot has changed over time, but it will not stop us from coming.....you have to pay for breakfast now per night, and you have to have wrist bands now when you go to the pool, but you know what, hopefully it will stop people from bringing extra people who shouldn't be there if they're not paying and keep out the rift raft and all the drama that shouldn't be there...it is a really nice hotel and has been there since I was a kid, I've given my kids bday parties there...so they have to protect there investments and I totally get it. Other than that, I will always be a valid customer here. The changes won't run me and my family away! Til next time!!!!

I liked that the staff was very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was great and the restaurant staff were awesome. We loved the hot tub and pool, we didn't use the sauna, but that was also a nice touch. The location is right off the highway, and great for visiting the city. I am sure there is more, but I digress. Great place to stay overall. P.S. The showers are great

The only complaint we had was it was really hot on the third floor. They did give us a box fan which helped. The bathroom was kind of small, but adequate and the showers are hot with good water pressure.

Hotel was clean nice location to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.

Restaurant has room for improvement. Paid $5 for a breakfast that is FREE at any other restaurant. And was included with the stay when we booked. $5 for canned gravy biscuit and cereal one morning and pan pancakes with a hard sausage link the next. When book it said full breakfast bar included. Ate dinner in the restaurant my friend got uncooked fish sent it back and they then sent out burnt crust and uncooked fish.

The pool area and breakfast area were so nice! The hotel looks dated but that's the theme/charm of it all and we were OBSESSED! Our room was clean. Super close to a highway, and really close to the strip mall and tons of food options.

We didn't know at the time that the Air Conditioning was turned off when we booked. It would have been fine with everything turned off, but for some reason it kept blowing heat into our room and it was 82° per the wall thermostat and would not cool off even though we had everything turned to off. Then when we got a shower it turned our room into a personal sauna.... but that did not diminish everything else about our stay. The hotel was nice, the staff was nice. It would be great to stay again, as long as there's AC.

The location is great. The design is superb. The best hotel especially for those going to Henry Ford Museum. It looks like the continue of the Henry Ford Museum inside. The hotel is in a good condition. Very helpful staff. And a pleasant pool to swim.

In summer the system does not have heating, only cold air (the device had a button to change the flow or to turn it off, but actually it didn't do anything as the temperature was already low in the room). Some people may find it hard to sleep in the room when it is that cold. But the staff was very helpfull and provided warm blankets. This can solve the issue. I'd recommend the hotel to install nets on the windows - thus it will be possible to open the windows to let some warm air inside the room.

It was very nice for the most part not sure about the history but the decor reminded me of an old classic hotel , the on site restaurant was very good and reasonably priced the staff was friendly and helpful

The hot tub was closed on our second day they had a group of young hockey and volleyball players staying and could have done more to keep them under control at the very least had a word with the parents that sat around drinking while the kids ran wild

We knew that the hotel provided breakfast to it's customers, but we weren't expecting such a phenomenal selection of breakfast items. Everything was fresh and delicious! Our family, especially, enjoyed the large dinning area that felt more like home than sitting in a cramped hotel eating area. The bed's were extremely comfortable and the pillows were the most soft and plump that we've ever seen in any hotel we've ever used in the past. Without a doubt, would stay here again and will highly recommend it to others traveling in the Detroit area.

Excellent breakfast. The restaurant was very good. We chose this hotel because it offers a free shuttle to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum. We visited the Village on our first day and the Museum on our second. Both are well worth seeing. The shuttle was driven by hotel personnel, and it was made available almost immediately upon our request. They transported us to the attractions and then picked us up quickly after we phoned. This combination of hotel and attractions can't be beat!

It was the perfect “pink castle” to take three little girls. It was a fun experience with the architecture and decor. Our room was great for five — the couch and extra space made it feel less cramped. The beds were fine and the room felt clean. The staff was amazing! Everyone was very kind, especially since we had three rambunctious girls. The breakfast was perfect for us. Overall, a great experience!

The indoor pool was very cold. I’m sure it’s better in the summertime. The bathtub wasn’t updated in the renovations, but it was clean.
