I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel at home. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to everything I wanted to explore, which made getting around super convenient. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and full of helpful local recommendations. I really appreciated how smooth everything was from check-in to check-out. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for a great experience!

I loved the staff and service. The Masseria is elegant and comfortable. Our room was in the main building with a gorgeous view of the garden. The whole upstairs where our room was located was like a museum. Everything was tradition and vintage. Absolutely beautiful you can see the history and imagine yourself in that period. We loved the Frantoia and the gardens. There is also a bonus pool and bar service. They even made us a lunchbox all affordable. The highlight here was the dinner in the garden in front of the main building under the stars. Simply romantic and relaxing. Food top notch service to boot! We will be back with friends.

We loved everything about our stay, and wish we'd been there longer! The hospitality was through the roof - everyone who worked there was so welcoming, helpful and kind. Our room was incredible - so spacious and bright and clean. And the property itself had lots of beautiful areas to relax, from the courtyard to the area outside our room to the pool (where we spent days lounging!). The honesty bar by the pool was a lovely touch - and the kittens roaming around were a bonus! We were torn each day whether to explore the area or just soak up Masseria Il Frantoio.

Honestly can't think of anything!

Masseria il Frantoio is a wonderful place to stay. It's in the countryside a few miles from Ostuni. It's down a winding track off the road. It's so peaceful there, with the only sounds being birdsong - we heard a scops owl both nights we were there. The room was lovely with a really comfortable bed. We were in the main courtyard of the property, close to the beautiful gardens. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We could wander freely round the gardens, the old olive pressing room and the small chapel. We ate in the restaurant one night - they provide a tasting menu with wine pairing which was excellent and good value for money.

The. food, the staff, the beautiful Masseria and olive trees were wonderful. Every night I ate there was freshly prepared gluten free pasta and bread. Their own olive oil, fruit and vegetables. Breakfast was freshly prepared fruit, eggs GF bread and freshly made marmalade. It was divine.

I was very restricted by not having a car and being somewhat disabled. I could not really explore and the taxis, although very good, were very expensive. That did mean I could not afford to go out every day. I would have appreciated more information pamphlets about local places to visit and how to get there without a taxi every time.

Absolutely stunning Masseria! The room was so beautiful and cozy, with very comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom with all the amenities needed. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. We loved the breakfast. The Masseria is situated on beautiful grounds just 10 minutes out of Ostuni and therefore its location is super convenient. The communal room with fireplace and record player is a very great place to sit and have a wine in the evening. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! We visited in low season and therefor didn’t have the chance to join the dinner (as they weren’t doing that at that time), so I cannot say anything about that. We loved our stay!

Lovely serene surroundings, gardens and beautiful pool area. We very much enjoyed the calm surroundings and being able to wonder around the gardens and enourmous olive yards freely. Seating areas scattered across the premesis makes it easy to find your own place to relax. We had a room in the restaurant building and it was spacious, cute and practical. We slept amazingly here. Great generous breakfast (not buffet but you fill out a form and all from fruit, yoghurt, eggs, cheese and cakes avsilable). Kind and attentive service.

Our first Masseria experience. Loved the quietness of the place. Felt like a place you could really stay a while and unwind. Our room was comfortable and the grounds were lovely. Dinner was good I would definitely go back again

Really not much. I think it was just getting use to this being a Masseria. Not a hotel. Breakfast was lovely but they really should put some non perishables out and just take orders for the cooked items and cold items. It always felt rushed and a bit stressful. And dietary requests were sometimes not handled well. Really though I would book this again

It was like taking a step back in time. Every original item that belong to the firm has been lovingly, preserved and displayed. The common areas are full of curios and lovely Antique Furniture . Breakfast in the common room was delicious and the staff took care to provide us with a different vegetarian fair every day. We enjoyed the tour of the property, especially into the sellers to see the old Olive press. Would definitely recommend as a must see when in Puglia

Everything was amazing!! The foooood was outstanding! The rooms were amazing and so homey. Takes you back in time in the coolest way. Francesco was the sweetest and most helpful staff member! We loved him.

The only downside was the location because we didn’t have a car. We were only a 10 minute drive from the town. But the taxi’s charge you a lot because they can (there’s really only one taxi service so they charge a $30 for a 10 minute drive) it would be amazing if the masseria had a shuttle service to and from that was maybe 2 euros. Would be so worth it for everyone
