Perched on the beautiful coastline of Azenhas do Mar, with walking trails directly off the property, this gem of an incredible “Cool House” could not be better for those of us outdoors fans. Big pluses are the padel courts on the grounds, where locals play, including high level league players, good padel teachers; outdoor sandy volleyball court, indoor workout area. … And, when the sun has set, or not, it hosts the best games room/ chill out area ever: ping pong, pool, darts, board games, play station and a guitar! Including a cool ‘honesty’ bar for guests ( i.e you write down what you consume): no loitering bar service people, which makes it feel like your own home. Breakfast is fabulous!! Great garden, great views, comfy beds.. all in all .. fantastic. Staff are amazing.

Staffs that we met are friendly and helpful. Room is clean with a nice balcony. Excellent breakfast. Nice swimming pool

The room was very humid, making everything feel moist and sticky. It'd be good to have an air de-humidifier in the room. Towels don't look very clean.

It is a beautiful place within walking distance of the ocean and the Azenhas-do-Mar village. It has a nice garden with pine trees (which smell amazing) and a lot of sports activities available. It was important to us to have a billiard table and equipment for training. The house looks stylish, the fireplace in the breakfast area, and the bungalow was equipped and warm. Nice beds, medium-soft, lots of pillows. Breakfast was beyond our expectations. Hot fresh eggs (with or without bacon), vegan options (plant-based milk), and good coffee. Everything was delicious. Also recommend Miss Sushi restaurants in the area for dinner. The staff was helpful. We had a problem with the booking (showed 2 persons reserved instead of paid 3), and staff contacted the booking to resolve it.

The bungalow is perfect for 2 people, but rather small for 3 in the long term (for 1-2 nights is ok). We had some problems with the TV internet (it was disconnecting every half an hour), but it's not a big deal.

The breakfast here is excellent, and the facilities are clean and a lot of fun. Get up early for the breakfast and enjoy a quiet morning with a great sunrise. The pool is great, and the small tennis courts are great as well. The small restaurant attached to the facility has very good food.

Beach access is challenging. The best way to go about getting to the beach is leaving the back of the facility and turning to your right and walking along the roads, taking left turns until you get to a downhill road that leads to cliffs with a walkway down to the beach.

Breakfast was excellent The outdoor facilities were fantastic, two huge adventure climbing gyms, 3 padel courts together with bar and food, beautiful pool, volley ball court, garden chess, darts, hammocks all in a stunning setting. Inside gym/games room with table tennis and billiards. We'd need a week to try it all! This also comes with an honesty bar and fridge.

We found the "Bike" bedroom didn't work for us. It was a small room (which was not a problem) but one side of the double bed had no bedside table and no lamp. My husband wanted to read in the night so had to switch the bathroom light on to do so. A over -the-bed wall light would have been an improvement, together with a shelf above the bed.

Facilities excellent. The owners and ALL the staff were Brilliant. Lovely breakfast.

The fact that we didn't take the owners advice and hire a car. Not there fault. Didn't spoil our break but would have been easier.

The property: The outdoors space, there’s a lot of activities on the property: padel, snooker, swimming, trampoline, ping pong, pétanque you name it !! you jus can’t get bored there!! The garden is very green, nice and quiet. The restaurant on the property doesn’t have the broadest menu but it’s sufficient and good. The breakfast is very good and of quality. It’s ideal for families with kids and kids at heart !! About the surroundings: The views around the hotel and the hikes that surround it are incredible, the cliffs, the mountains, the ocean: everything is just breathtaking. Azenhas is a superb village with a natural pool that is mesmerizing. We recommend the restaurant close to Magoito that has a view on the ocean (take cash but it’s worth it!!)

The room that was given to us was very small. Although the furnishing of the room is smart and well packed, it was just hard to enjoy staying in. The shower leaked a couple times and a vent should be installed in the bathroom for the room gets very humid after one showers.

Perfect location with a lovely garden and Pool. Private parking included for free and the game/gym area was really nice too. The breakfast was a Real highlight, one of the best we had in Portugal with everything you could need. The Padle Tennis Courts are a must for me if you stay here. There is also a shared fridge in the gaming/gym room you can use.

The walls are not the thickest and the beds are a little noisy so...well you know what i mean.

Azen Cool House is a lovely little retreat! Great location and wonderful grounds. As we were there in winter we didn't use the outdoor spaces but I could see this being really popular for summer. Breakfast YUM!

We really loved our stay at the property, we came for 2 short nights and it had everything we needed. The pool , the apartment and the breakfast were all great .. and we spent most of our time playing pool , table tennis and padel which was just fabulous to have those facilities. It’s very close to the cliff edge and just perfect base to drive different spots. Staff were great.

Nothing , we loved it. The only small thing I can think of is to have mini fridge in the room rather than common area but this is so minor overall 100% would recommend.
