Very good, the staff made my stay more enjoyable and relax, the staff are always with a smile and making sure you are good. The room was small but very comfortable and cozy, the bed was perfect. I loved the breakfast. And very good location, you can take buses and metro and the castle is very close. I am very happy with my stay and if I will go back to Ankara I will be staying with them again.

Well, the pillows were a bit hard and the WiFi was having problems. I would suggest to add a more strong WiFi connection for the rooms to enjoy the internet. On the lobby the WiFi was good.

I always choose budget places - prefer spending money for visiting museums, bazaars, lokanta etc. Location is very great - Anitkabir, Museum of Anatolian Civilisation, art museum, museum of republic etc in short walking distance. YHT train station 20 min walking with 20 kg backpack. (Staff allowed us to leave some parts of luggage in hotel for free). After trip to Konya we were accommodated in the same room what was really nice. Mr Ahmet from reception is the super star! Breakfasts were excellent. Markets (a101, sok, bim, kooperatif) just 50 steps from front door. Tekel (raki, beer) also.

Well.. hotel is like in 70 or 80’ last century;) it needs some renovation. In fact there is some at another floor (not disturbing for guests). Neighbourhood can be not nice for lonely women in the late night - a beer bar is by next street and we met few not sober men. Ofc it’s not hotel fault. Just want to inform next guests.

Had an amazing stay at the Spor hotel, the staffs were just amazing. Special mention to the Manager who always checked how we were doing and if we needed anything to make it a better experience. The cleaning staffs were great, always around to check if we needed anything changed or cleaned. The breakfast was good, and the staffs at the restaurant were great. Special mention to the Manager, as he facilitated us to stay late in the waiting lounge after the checkout for several hours as our flight was very late at night.

All amazing with the hotel but heard from others that the location was not the safest to stay. We were on our toes as we did experience a couple of scary incidents while out in the town but nothing to do with the hotel.

Good location, very friendly and always ready to help personnel - starting from workers in the kitchen and up to the general manager of the hotel. No single question you may have, or any request you may put, will be left unreplied! The hotel serves breakfast that is also very nice and diverse (big opportunity for those who are hungry right after waking up 😁). The city center is easily accessible either by walking on your own or by using the public transportation that you can catch nearby that may appear as a major priority for the people who like sightseeing ☺️. All in all, staying there is highly recommended!

Sometimes one can feel like the street on which the hotel is situated is too noisy at night. But it's absolutely normal considering the hotel is on the main road from the airport to the very center of the city. At least I was able to sleep normally even being worrying about the noise 😂. So, it's not an any serious disadvantage taking into account all other benefits that exist in the hotel in abundance.

The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the stay comfortable. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants, and public transportation. The amenities provided were excellent, including a comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi.

While the overall experience was great, the noise levels from nearby rooms and the street could be improved with better soundproofing. A few minor maintenance issues, such as dim lighting in some areas, could be addressed for an even better experience.

Location: You can reach the public transits (bus, subway, taxi) with 5 minutes walk. There were multiple markets and restaurants around hotel. Cleanliness: All thing was pretty great. Staff: Almost all very friendly, specially Emrullah who speaks English well and was very helpful. Breakfast: It was consisted of eggs, vegetables, cheeses, salami and..., I liked it. Value: Highly Recommended!

Internet Wi-Fi speed remind me the "Dial-up Internet" era (if you know what I'm talking about) that you couldn't do anything in most of the times.

Cleaning is spotless. Staff is excellent.My taxi driver couldn’t understand location though it’s main and easy so I connected him to hotel manager and he guided. Reception lady and hotel manager came out to greet me and also bid me goodbye when I was leaving on checkout day. Very cooperative with late check out and luggage storage. Breakfast was okay. Location is excellent and convenient for public transport and metro and sightseeing.

In the night you might see some shady drunk people in the area but it’s safe overall. Bathing area in washroom was too small.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities provided. The staff were polite and helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around. While nothing particularly stood out as exceptional, everything met expectations and made for a smooth experience. I’d consider staying here again in the future.

Spor Otel offers a place where you can experience Turkish hospitality. This is an older hotel without fuzz, but what it offers is attentive staff that is ready to help you in any way they can, a proper Turkish breakfast, and rooms with a comfortable bed. All this at walking distance from supermarkets, local eateries, and Ulus metro station. Excellent value for money.

The bathrooms could use an upgrade with new shower curtains and toilet lids. WiFi isn't always stable.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Lication is also very good. Very good breakfast with changes everyday! Specially, the reception staff was excellent everytime smile on their face. Rooms were super clean, everday housekeeping cleaning it again and again. They were eager to help in anyway possible! Even outbof thie business. 10/10 from my side... I will definitely stay again here...

There is nothing that I didn't like only the Wifi had some small issues, hope they can improve, as I am a Telekom Engineer and saw their wifi routers and access points, so I suggest them changing it, they are very small and covers less range of distance and it can't push the signal through out the walls....
