We had a super relaxing stay here. The rooms are so comfortable and nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the beach area is nice and clean, so pretty! Great swimming pool. Free snorkeling gear and bikes. And the food… everything we tried, breakfast-lunch-dinner, was delicious, they have an amazing cook. Everything was super clean in the room, a nice welcome and “see you later” gift etc The staffing the best, Acik, Surya, Yuda and Iggy were amazing. So was Jordan (manager) and Ary (reception) We stayed 5 nights and I really felt 100% relaxed, which usually doesn’t happen for me. This was my little paradise. For sure recommend and if I hopefully come back to Meno, it will be here again, no doubt!

Nothing bad I can say. Maybe 2 small suggestions: - a water kettle or coffee in room would be nice - small towels for hair. You have great big shower towels but when washing hair, it would be handy to have a small towel also.

Our stay at the Meno House was really lovely. - The staff were so kind, friendly and professional. We felt so looked after. In particular Surya at the restaurant/bar went out of his way to help us feel welcomed and we really appreciated it! He gave us a hand-written note to teach us basic Bahasa, as we were going to Jakarta afterwards. He also helped us practice a few words in Sasak, patiently. Please do extend our gratitude to him - he really made our stay much more enjoyable and interesting! - The villa was beautiful and comfortable. Loved the comfy seating area on the patio, slept well in the bed, the high ceiling made the room so cool that we barely used the AC. - The beach and the swimming pool were well-kept and clean. We did a lot of snorkelling and the coral reef was stunning. - The restaurant and the bar were just right. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, even with a limited menu they were always delicious and well presented. We got lazy and ended up eating mostly at the hotel because the food/drinks were good and the service pleasant. Our favourite dish was the fish curry. - Services we booked through the hotel were high standard too. We booked a snorkelling tour around the island, which was great and the captain/instructor were very accommodating. The massage was amazing. The car/speedboat to the airport went smoothly. - There were nice touches and well-considered design choices. For example - the beautiful Indonesian flowers that have fallen on the floor of the shower every time you step into the outdoor shower. The turn down service where all the sand is swept off of the floor. Tasteful happy hour cocktails as you watch the sunset. Surprisingly good quality bikes if you wish to cycle around the island.

There was a slight miscommunication initially with our transfer to the hotel from our previous place in Lombok. However, the hotel manager and the team resolved it swiftly and the transfer on the way back went smoothly.

Everything was superb - the location, the standard of the room and the service. Meno House is a perfect escape - quiet, but still with plenty to do and a nice, warm, friendly atmosphere. The free snorkelling equipment and bikes were a real plus. Having the sea and a pool right outside your room is a real blessing and one which we took advantage of as much as possible. The room itself was excellent. Everything you could need and finished to a high standard and well maintained, with daily cleaning if required and an evening draw-down service. The staff here are all excellent and it’s evidently a well-run show. The adjoining bar/restaurant is a great retreat where you can grab a fantastic meal at a reasonable price. All drinks too were excellent and like the rest of Meno House, so were the staff. A special mention to Iggy and the team for making us feel at home and chatting whenever we were there. A real credit to this excellent spot. We aren’t a couple who would usually return to the same location twice, but we will do all we can to return here in the near future.

Meno House is an island oasis, a little piece of heaven. If you want peace, to get away from too many tourists, a place to totally relax, great food on site, friendly helpful staff, nice rooms, beautiful pool, sea just steps away (including sea turtles and great snorkelling just off the beach) …. I could continue on and on … then this is the place for you! Special mention should be made of the really delightful staff - all of them were so friendly and helpful. Also, we were very impressed with the standard of food that we had at the restaurant Toofeys. We managed to work our way through most of the menu while there and we were never disappointed! Breakfast is also impressive. The omelette was truly one of the best I have ever had. There is a large selection on offer for breakfast - all freshly made. The small number of rooms/villas meant there was a homely feel to the place which adds to the sense of peace. Our room was one of the farthest from the beach but we still enjoyed a pleasant, private outlook including a view of the pool and sea.

I didn’t like the guilt associated with my total laziness while I lounged on the stunning beach, doing nothing other than snoozing, reading, swimming and eating all day long ☺️. We also didn’t like leaving!

Excellent communication with hotel staff- arranged affordable and local services (private boat to hotel, sunset horseback riding, affordable laundry services, in room massages, horse cart arrangements and restaurant recommendations). We loved the bikes on site, which we rode everyday to our dive center. The pool was almost always empty so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The reef in front of the hotel was great- we swam with turtles everyday. We watched the sunset from the hotel beach which is perhaps the best seat on Meno. Not only did we feel like we had found Gili's best kept secret, we felt spoiled in luxury at a much more affordable price point than Bask. The food on site was excellent, especially breakfast. For dinner, I would highly recommend the Lamb Rendang- this meal was a standout during our 3 weeks of travel. Really, really excellent experience.

We had the most relaxing stay in Gili Meno with fantastic breakfast right on the beach, comfortable and clean room, and turtles just 10 m from the shore. This is a boutique hotel with a few rooms, so very calm and relaxing, private atmosphere. We loved the private beach in front of the rooms and the rich marine life in the sea. The hotel provides free snorkelling equipment and bikes too. Thank you so much for this stay, and a special thanks goes to Jordan who was helping us in many ways. All the staff was friendly and nice. We hope to be back soon.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Meno House during our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the kind and friendly staff who made us feel so comfortable and cared for. As a honeymoon surprise, they gave us a delicious cake, homemade cookies, and two beautiful bracelets such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special! The room was cleaned twice a day, which we really appreciated, and the facilities were excellent. We were provided with free bikes, as well as kayaking, swimming, and snorkeling equipment,everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. One of the highlights of our trip was snorkeling right off the beach, where we had the chance to swim with turtles and colorful fish. The sunsets from the property were simply breathtaking ,the perfect romantic ending to each day. Thank you to the entire team at Meno House for making our honeymoon unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to any couple looking for a peaceful and magical stay on Gili Meno!

Review – Gili Meno House Hotel Our stay at Gili Meno House Hotel was absolutely magical. The location was perfect – a true paradise setting straight out of a dream. The room was fantastic, and the housekeeping was outstanding, with cleaning twice a day, which really made a difference. A big shoutout to the amazing bar staff – you were incredible! A special greeting to my Bosses, you truly made our experience even better. The snorkeling was another highlight – absolutely amazing, and all the equipment was included, making it easy to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. Highly recommended!

A little slice of luxury on Gili Island. With only 7 rooms . This hotel is all about the personal experience. From small gifts at turndown service, to a la crate breakfasts, to a free tote bag to take with you. The rooms are clean, spacious and luxurious compared to other hotels I stayed in on the island. The facilities, such as the pool are only shared with six other rooms, so even when at capacity, it feels like you have it all to yourself. The hotel provides all the extras for free compared to other hotels, Kayaks, snorkels, fins, beach shoes and bikes are all free for guests to use (no rental fee). I can see why it is number one on the island. I would return here in a heartbeat! I also recommend booking the speedboat pickup through the hotel, they collect you and drop you right outside on the beach! And the beach, Snorkling from the shore I saw turtles and incredible fish everyday!

They had thought about everything, it was one of the best stays I had in the Lombok/islands area. The only recommendation I would give is for a kettle/tea/coffee facilities to be added to the rooms, especially if you are an early riser and like to sit and have a coffee when you wake up. Whilst you could go to the beach bar (20 metres away) to help yourself to coffee and tea in the morning, this is only from 7am (so if you are an early riser or enjoy an afternoon tea, a kettle in the room would be an added bonus).

We stayed in Gili Meno for 4 nights. The hotel is on the beach and this is super relaxing and the atmosphere very calm. We enjoyed our time in Gili Meno swimming with the turtles and snorkelling on the coral reef. All is just in front of the hotel and around the island. We also used the kayak provided by the hotel. Masks for snorkelling and the rock shoes are also supplied by the hotel. I suggest to do some snorkelling also to see the Bask underwater statue. We used the swimming pool in the afternoon/evening time when there is low tide and it is hard to swim in the sea due to the corals and rocks. Breakfast is fantastic. It is so nice to have breakfast on the beach with some calm music on the background. We had also dinner there and the food was really good. The staff is always ready to help/assist during the stay. Drinkable water is provided by the hotel and there is free refill at the bar. Highly recommended if you want to relax and enjoy the sea!
