The whole staff at this place is just so accommodating and sweet. Admittedly I haven't had many conversations with housekeeping so I don't know their demeanor but in passing they seem nice too and they do an incredible job making the rooms so clean and inviting. I haven't had a single bad encounter with anyone at the front desk. This place is managed extremely well. The price is generally always reasonable, and honestly the only slight downside is that there isn't a whole lot of anything within walking distance. You can walk but it would be about a mile and a half round trip to a couple places. Two miles round trip to a lot more food options. I've mostly dealt with night staff, so Benny and Jare? And the other fellow.. those guys are all super nice. And Michelle the Manager is just the cat's pajamas in my book! I've stayed here probably 20ish times now. My home away from home as they say.

Location isn't perfect but also not terrible.

Things that were noticeably pleasant and accommodating: Clean fridge, clean drawers, clean tabletop for computer etc, clean bathroom and toiletries, small but inclusive lotion and shampoo provided.

Things that were noticeable: the chairs that were in the room was clearly dated (office chairs that were coming apart but still functional just the seats were peeling), not sure if this is just a motel thing but there was a slight smell that wasn't the best when I first entered the room, the shower curtain wasn't really stopping the shower water from escaping and the shower head was not at a height that comfortably accommodates taller guests, im 6'1 and i had to bend down to comfortably shower.

This is one of the cleanest, most comfortable motels that I have ever stayed in. I particularly appreciated the wood floors instead of carpet. The bedding was immaculate (the people who complained that the pillows were too hard need to unfold them!! They are adjustable). Special shout-out to the housekeeping staff...my room was absolutely clean. I dropped my charger behind the bedside table and there wasn't a speck of dust. The location was great, with parking near the room. The ice machine worked, the room had a comfy chair and solid table, a BIG TV, and a bright bedside lamp. The room had a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker, and shampoo, soap, makeup remover, and lotion were provided. There was also a safe and an ironing board. I only stayed one night, but it would be a good place for a longer stay, I think. Dogs are allowed, with a pet fee. I went to eat at a ramen restaurant...and right there, 3 minutes from the motel, was an entire Uwajimaya Japanese supermarket!!! I was amazed! The only other locations are midtown Seattle and Bellevue! I had no idea there was one in Beaverton!! I stocked up on Japanese drinks, fresh sushi, and snacks. The staff were friendly and professional. When I looked for a place to stay, I was a bit worried because the rate seemed low. The reviews were encouraging, and it was near my destination for the next morning, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did.

I did not see an information folder with local restaurants and maybe a map of the hotel or an area guide. Perhaps there was one, but I didn't see it. There were, however, clear signs, and I had no trouble finding the vending machines and ice. I don't know if there are washing machines or a specific dog-walking area, but there was a nice courtyard with landscaping and places to sit.

I am giving the hotel max rating because it was a very good value and located in a place that is easy to access and easy for me to get to where I needed to go. The room was clean and had everything you would expect a hotel to have for guests. The room was also quite large and roomy so you didn't feel too closed in.

At some point in time the place had a pool. The pool has been replaced by a concrete patio. I don't know why they got rid of the pool but if you want a hotel with a pool, this hotel no longer has one.

It's smelled like bleach when I walked in.Everything was very clean. The staff were all very amazing.There was even a gentleman that walked around at night with a flashlight looking for crazies.

The room was pretty worn down. The tub had pits in it. The closet unit that had the microwave and refrigerator in it needs to be thrown away. You had to pull up on the handle to get it to open. Even though there was a lot of wear on the room, it was still really great.

It was close to the hospital. It was clean. It was comfortable.

The furniture was dated but everything worked.

First room … the desk person had to open the door for us “We ran out of key cards.” But there were no curtains and it was ground floor, where the people in the courtyard could see right in. Went immediately to switch rooms, and he gave me a key card. Strange! Second room… At least looked clean and had curtains, but my son and I would not sit on the chair, because it was old and crusty with holes in it. While the beds were extremely comfortable, the pillows were lumpy. Didn’t even know that was a thing.

The staff was great! Our room was very clean! They even supplied me with a USB adapter, I forgot mine at home. Centrally located for Beaverton & Portland. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend this place to friends & relatives. If you add BBQ's in the old pool area people could plan ahead & bring something to BBQ & eat there with paper plates & napkins versus going out to eat. Just a thought. ☺️

On the web site they show a pool, it is now filled with concrete. A very nice sitting area with tables tho, they could add a bbq or 2 maybe. Bring an adapter with you.

The door lock was insufficient in my option. Closing the door was the only lock, deadbolt broken, no chain lock or safety bolt. The facilities overall need a fresh coat of love, functional but not wow.

Michelle, Property Mgr., and her Front Office Support Staff, are an extension her Model to Follow…Courteous, Engaging, Professional and HAPPY to assist Hotel Guests…I was extremely impressed with the Maintenance Staff also: always responding to requests or needs… The Value is one thing, yet the Location, Quietness, Convenience (Highways, Restaurants), and Management made the Comfortability a GREAT stay at the Pepper Tree Inn!! Thank You, Michelle, and Staff for a safe, quiet environment…
