we arrived early and the hotel staff allowed us to leave our cases in a secure area until check-in time. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the location was excellent for the beach and restaurants.

We did not like being awakened at 7:30 am by builders working on the upper floor. We complained and the staff were apologetic but nothing was done about it. a previous review says that the hotel said that all building works would be finished by the 21st of July which was not the case . We would not have stayed here if we had known this, we recommend this hotel but only if the management can absolutely guarantee that no works are in progress.

The location is great! The staff was also amazing and very helpful. The value for the price compared to the alternatives is great. The room was big and we had a good terase. Even though we were very close to the beach, it wasn't noisy at all!

The mattress was bigger than the frame, which trusted in deformities in the mattess, making it pretty uncomfortable. Also, you can't really lay o the ends of the matress because of that. The pillows were also very full, causing neck pain. Finally, the shower was very claustrophobic when I used the shower curtain it felt unhygienic as it rubs onto me while showering in the tight space, but it was an easy fix just not to use the curtain... Also, there was no place to hang the shower head, so you need to use one hand to point the shower at all times... or to ask for an assistant ;D

We had no problem with checkin and we also had no problem with checkout. The room was clean and every day around lunch the cleaning lady brought us clean towels and washed the bathroom, hallway and room. The cleaning lady also emptied the ashtray and refilled the toilet paper. Cleanliness at this hotel is guaranteed. The lighting in the room was very good, the bed was big, but the mattress was a bit old (it creaked every time you turned at night). The street the hotel is on is a bit noisier, but Greeks like night life, so it wasn't a problem for me, because you sleep on the beach during the day anyway, haha. There are an incredible number of restaurants around the hotel, a supermarket is really around the corner. The hotel staff were very accommodating and nice and will advise you on choosing a transfer or taxi, but also on buying quality wine. Our vacation was very pleasant thanks to Hotel Avra. We thank you!

Little bit noisy.

The location was superb, everything was accessible from this location, the room was small, but that’s the room I booked and it was perfect for my needs, the bathroom was spacious enough and the balcony offered an excellent view (the chair was placed appropriately for me to understand this. I didn’t try the breakfast so for this I cannot comment

I tried to call down to the reception from the room for a coffee, but this didn’t work, I didn’t investigate why, I simply went out and took a coffee and enjoyed the seafront outside

Cleanness. Every day cleaned room, each third day replaced bed sheet and towels. Very friendly and helpful receptionists! Allowed to accommodate a few hours sooner than 14:00 and allowed to stay longer due to late flight. Found nothing to complain about the room or service.

Just breakfast could be richer. There were no vegetables or fruit. Just melon available. However this is a 2 star hotel, so I accept it.

Very nice staff, they let us check in late without any problem and leave early, always someone at the reception. The room was very clean and perfect for one night even though the hotel is under construction.

The notice that part of the hotel is renovating and under constraction was a bit late 2 days before arrival, yet they managed our stay without problems.

10 metres from sand beach.reception 100% usefull they can drive you via phone .from anywhere in Saloniki by bus straight 50metres from hotel. Room had anything you need perfect to catch a very early flight in the morning outdoor restaurants with perfect heating systems ..in January!!!..wow!!

Homestly for the budget spent .you can t ask anything better or more.

Close to the beach beautiful clean room with fresh bedding and towels lots of complimentary toiletries and a good breakfast for 7 euro, This is my second stay and I would recommend especially for the airport. Very reasonable price considering the proximity to the beach and the standard of the accommodation.

A little noisy around bedtime 10/11pm with guests returning to their rooms but as the hotel was busy this is to be expected.
