Most pictures advertising the hotel rooms are deceiving....not here Very friendly staff. The front desk welcomes you, and they will answer any questions you may have. The housekeeping staff are very thorough. My room was very clean when I arrived. Since I stayed a week, I didn't need my room cleaned every day, but it was offered. I will compliment the housekeeping staff on how well they clean... especially the bathroom. They do an amazing job! All of the staff is amazing. When you pass them in the hall, they always greet you with a friendly face... even if they are not having a great day.

The slamming of the doors at night, but this is typical at any hotel. I enjoy sitting outside on a nice day. There isn't a place to sit outside except a bench by the end entrance. Possibly could provide a sitting area (benches, picnic tables). Parking is a little tricky when the place is sold out, especially for bigger vehicles.

Great value, hotel is a little dated but not in a way that caused any issues. Tv and bathroom have clearly been remodeled and felt modern.

It’s nice that breakfast was provided for guests as may budget hotels don’t do that. But it was not well attended to by staff. Coffee was out both days and it would be nice to have a microwave to heat some of the things up rather than having to take back to your room.

I liked everything EXPECT the owner.

The owner was very rude and disrespectful when I only asked for a receipt. Told me to "walk next door to the competition and ask if they'll give you a receipt for your deposit," before he would finish my check-in, but I only had on pajamas. It was demeaning, ridiculous, and COMPLETELY unnecessary. I stayed at this location before and gave it 10⭐️'s. I'm definitely fixing that rating now.

I love this place stay here often because we have family that lives in Morganton.

We will have to find a new place to stay. The prices have become unaffordable. When I called and ask why the price has went up so much I was told there were new owners and that they had done alot of renovations. I personally did not see anything different about the place. So as much as I love staying there (only 1 mile from family) I will be staying somewhere else.

Clean and allowed early check in

I missed breakfast so I asked for a yogurt because i am diabetic and have to have something at a moments notice and the young man working the food area said he would go get me a yogurt. Then the manager could be the owner said that breakfast was over and that I was not allowed to get it. That was upsetting.

Room was neat and clean. Bed was comfortable.

Our room was near an entrance and the ice machine. Noise on and off through the night. Staff was in the hallway talking and making noise Sunday morning from 7 am on.

Jay and Kerri are wonderful. They are very knowledgeable about the facility and surrounding area. If you have a problem with your room, it's very uncommon. They do what they can to fix it.

It was a comfortable room with great access to I-40. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. No noise at all while we were inside the room.

The outside smelled like cigarettes and there weren’t enough breakfast options.

The hotel and staff were super nice.

Having to make a deposit due to previous stayers, who damaged rooms and stole towels, etc. . I would stay there again though! The front desk person was so nice!

Breakfast was nice and we were able to check in early because of our trip

The beds were not comfortable my back was hurting couldn't get a good nice rest
