The hotel feels more like a luxurious village with different “departments” for different areas eg the department of Chemistry which is where you go for mixing cocktails. We got lucky with the weather so the bay has a beautiful warm shallow beach. However when the winds came in on the day we were leaving, it brought small debris with it. The rooms are very spacious with huge bathrooms too. Housekeeping comes 3 times a day. The spa is heavenly (ask for Hai) and feels very luxurious too. Great activities for both kids and adults - mostly free with a few that you pay for

They have some packages and if you take them, you forfeit any Marriott membership discounts but gain the “credit” discount. In the end, it was worth taking the credit for two or more people but I think the staff should explain this part as it caused confusion. In fact your type of membership benefits also needs to be explained as that can vary too. Do your maths 😄

My kids had a great time at the Kids Club and loved the activities run by Ha, we enjoyed the beach, white sand and pristine blue water, amazing food at all of the hotels restaurants, buffet breakfast was superb, stuff was friendly and responsive at every level, awesome stay!

The staff deserves special praise—they are incredibly welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile, and go above and beyond to ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience. One of the highlights of our trip was the bike tour with our amazing guide, Phu. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire journey even more enjoyable, showing us breathtaking landscapes and sharing fascinating insights about the area. It was an experience we will cherish forever! The interiors and exteriors of the hotel are simply flawless—every detail is carefully thought out, from the elegant design of the rooms to the beautifully maintained gardens and common areas. It’s a place where luxury meets comfort, making every moment here special. And of course, the food deserves a special mention! Every meal felt like a culinary journey, with incredibly delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The variety of flavors and fresh ingredients made every dining experience exciting and memorable. Whether it was breakfast with a view of the sea or a romantic dinner under the stars, each bite was a delight. This hotel exceeded all our expectations in every way! I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, the experience was exceptional. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We had the chance to try all of the hotel's restaurants, and honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite – each one was outstanding in its own way! The rooms were spacious, with a stunning sea view. This resort! Where to begin? How a resort manages to be a huge resort in size yet personable, quaint, peaceful and private is a testament to its management and crew. We spent 5 amazing nights here and the attention to detail, the level of comfort and tranquility were second to none. Special mention to the truly beautiful Jessica Nguyen who took us in hand and provided helpful guidance for a memorable stay and absolutely made my husbands YEAR with special birthday treats. Not a single thing

My stay at JW Marriott was truly exceptional. The team is amazing, and the property itself is a masterpiece—full of art, intricate details, and fine architecture. The food was outstanding, but what made the experience even more memorable was Rafael at the restaurant. He is simply exceptional. From his body language to the way he addressed and received my requests, he showed incredible understanding, respect, and professionalism. He is a true jewel, and JW Marriott should be proud to have him representing them so perfectly.

To sum it up: fantastic. We took spacious room overlooking the ocean with beautiful and big balcony, the bathroom, the bed everything is amazing. Hotel has the best beach on Phu Quoc, white sand with turquise sea, great bars and restaurants and property is well maintained with lots of greenery, palm trees, flowers etc. The pools are amazing, hotel lobby and reception absolutely stunning. The staff is also great, polite and helpful. Room service was also very good(amazing burger), with this hotel you cannot be unhappy. Very close to Sunset town, Cable car and around 25mins to the center. Close by on the beach you can find cool beach bars and it is great for evening walk.

We visited the hotel for the second time, and it remains an architectural masterpiece, refined in every detail. It ranks among my top five hotels in the world. The hotel is located at the end of a beautiful white sand beach. Until last year, the beach was private, with access restricted to only hotel guests. This year, however, even non-guests are allowed to visit, but it hasn’t felt intrusive. The breakfast is the best, offering a splendid selection of European and Asian hot and cold dishes, fresh fruits, and drinks—served in a sumptuous style.

Hotels of this type on the island provide complimentary transportation to and from the hotel. We were offered transportation that was quite expensive by local standards.

This hotel is a special experience! I think it is the most extraordinary hotel I've ever been at. Great architecture, details, artifacts, history, design. My 100% recommendation if you want something special with the wow-effect.

Breakfast is oriented on the Asian guests. All the breakfasts I ate were the same, cause I hadn't got a normal choice of European food: I ate eggs with bacon and hash browns all the time. Some days they had what they called oatmeal, but it was an oat powder boiled in water, terrible for me.
