Stayed here for one night of 17/02 to 18/02. After staying 2 nights in the absolutely dreadful Royal Hotel on the other side of the river, I felt like I had arrived in paradise when I entered the foyer here. Lovely heavy wooden furniture in the foyer. Very nice reception desk. Nice room with small balcony with lovely city view. Free bottled water, a great fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, an undersheet between the bedsheet and the mattress to protect the mattress from human sweat and dead skin Toiletries & non-slip tiles in the bathroom. Tiling in a wood effect in the bedroom was attractive. Fantastic value at $21 per night. Highly recommnended. If I return to Battambang I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

There was no breakfast, which I was fully aware of, but I like breakfast. However, almost no hotel in the mid range in Battambang was offering same. In fairness, there were at least two restaurants very near the hotel offering breakfast. Small disposable shampoo and conditioner bottles which are environmentally unfriendly, but on the positive side the bins were lined with newspaper and not the usual plastic bags. Great idea. No safety deposit box in the room. To me given that I am moving around a lot this is important. I have marked the hotel down because of that.

An excellent choice for a hotel in Battambang. Large, clean, spacious room and attached bathroom. Constant supply of hot water. Very obliging reception and cleaning staff, polite and helpful. Location a 10-minute walk from the centre of town. For the price I paid, it was excellent value for money.

It would have been nice if the hotel provided breakfast but, apart from that, no complaints at all.

Hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is not located on the side of the river where the old part of town is but on the other side. This is the side you want to be on. Next to the Riverwalk which is highly entertaining in the evening.

Right next to a primary school. If your room is on that side be prepared for loud speaker announcements several times a day and lots of noisy children. Didnt bother me too much. You may want to ask for a room on the river side.

The rooms were large, spacious, comfortable and with big windows. We met the owners by chance and we had a fantastic experience with them as they invited us out to visit their rice farm. They were so friendly and hospitable.

The hotel is at a few minutes walk from downtown, which is good: quieter! There are various restaurants, street foods and shops around, especially a minimart right at the opposite side of the street, with friendly owners. The hotel and the (large) room were very, very clean, bed comfortable (perfect pillows), and furnitures well maintained. Good aircon. I recommend balcony rooms from which you will have a view on the monastery just near. Great value for money.

I didn't experience anything wrong.

Great hot water. It’s a 10-15 min walk from the main area where most tourists go so it’s a bit quieter. Restaurants right outside. Large room, comfy bed and pillows. I can tell the bedding was actually washed unlike other places I have stayed.

This is not the hotels fault in any way. Just a heads up, there’s a really cool temple complex right outside the hotel. Sunday morning the monks were chanting and playing music very loudly for hours starting at 545am. Bring earplugs!

Just outside of the city centre, this hotel is in a great position to visit town but in a quiet neighbourhood. Clean but dated, can't fault it at the price we paid.

Comfy bed , hot water , quiet nights sleep, good quiet aircon and a television that works ( if you want it ) Wi-Fi wasn’t too bad , location was good for me, just out of main area as I don’t mind a walk .

The location and cleanliness was very good

No breakfast available at the hotel. I would have paid additional cost for the breakfast.

Reasonable place to stay

I told the reception (on both of my stays) to not make my room until after I check out but the message didn’t get across
