Lowest price rooms in Bangor, yet in quality of room and overall appeal as well as price, Queen City equals or betters the next half dozen or so of its closest competitors. The accommodations came with a modest yet pleasant variety of breakfast items including a classic DIY hot waffle maker for an unlimited hot breakfast item. Apple juice and orange juice fountains and refills as desired. And a Folgers hot coffee fountain with three dispensers of Coffee Mate creamers and refills as desired. And the coffee was fabulous. The coffee is also available 24/7. Truly unlimited. The desk staff are wonderful.

Only on one occasion out of 5, the cleaning staff was less than diligent. But it's winter in Maine, I can't imagine it's easy to find and retain a perfect staff.

All the linens and the towels were brand new. The breakfast was very nice and the person at the front desk was very nice.

The hotel is definitely showing its age, and the tub and the toilet seat were also showing their age, however they were clean. The green AstroTurf on the balcony could be removed and it would add to the curbside appeal a whole lot. It really detracts and makes you think you're staying in a dive, but then when you get in the room it's very clean and nice. But for the price I have no complaints at all!

We had an excellent stay, all of the staff were wonderful. We did have an issue with a smell in the room which did turn out to be cat pee on one of the beds. We didn’t actually realize that’s where it was coming from until we were ready to check out, but did report it just as a heads up. The girl working was wonderful, she came right to our room and took photos to show the manager. Will definitely stay here again

Love access to make a single cup of coffee in the lobby. Kept me sane for the week we stayed! Breakfast was a nice bonus too. Complimentary waters in the room were well enjoyed. Staff was great! We had a noise issue and they took care of it immediately. Thank you!!!

Two full beds, one was so so saggy, I didn't sleep well. The bathtub was peeling terribly and looked dirty but I could tell it was cleaned.

did not really eat breakfast, just had a yougart and juice would have liked to see creamers for the coffee liked the fact that the room was next door to the office and staff was polite did not hear people outside the door, was very quiet

Our room was spacious and clean. All of the desk personnel were friendly and we appreciated the breakfast in the morning.

When I used my Maps App on my iPhone it said this motel was permanently closed. I therefore called the property and the call went to a call center where the operator couldn't locate my reservation. We therefore directly traveled there just to be sure we had a reservation. When I checked in I mentioned this to the desk clerk and she said "Oh yeah it does that". If I was the owner I would make sure this is fixed IMMEDIATELY because I'm sure I'm not the only one being upset about this.

It's a very cost-effective accommodation. It is located about an hour and 15 minutes away from Arcadia National Park. All the staff I met during my stay in this hotel were very friendly and friendly. Their attitude of doing their best for the convenience of guests is really the best. The room was clean and the water pressure in the bathroom was good. The breakfast was really better than I expected. Various kinds of drinks and foods kept being refilled and all were delicious. The automatic hotcake machine, which is enough to attract children's guests' attention, created a very delicious and pretty hotcake. We were very comfortable and satisfied during our two nights here.

The edge springs of the bed were slightly off in the position where many people sat. My neighbors who gather late at night, laugh, chat, drink, and smoke, have disrupted my evening breaks a bit, but this is not a flaw in the accommodation itself.

I like how the front desk is very respectful and every morning housekeeping will ask if you need their services which not all hotels do that. The beds and rooms are extremely comfortable and the price is also reasonable for the quality of the room. I had a very relaxing stay and ended up staying for about a week :)

I did have a problem with the shower continuing to go from warm to cold, to cold to hot, which obviously was kind of irritating. The wi-fi once in a while cuts out and a few nights there was a couple incidents where three or four guests were hanging out outside playing music kind of loud and hollering, which was a little annoying and the walls are sort of thin but, that’s what the TV nn my phone is for haha, regardless, it is a really comfortable and nice place to stay, pretty affordable at the end of the day, and i do recommend it!

The bed, linens, and pillows were very comfortable! The shower was nice, as well. Good air conditioning. Despite what I say below, it was cozy, and I would stay again.

A strong odor of cigarette smoke in the room. The coffee maker didn't work, and the toilet's flush seems to be in need of repair or adjustment. There is no guide for the TV.

I read the reviews before I made my booking and I realize a lot of people can be overly critical. We enjoyed our stay and had no major issues. Right from the moment we arrived the girl at the front desk was friendly and we felt welcome. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Compared to the other motels in the area this was the least expensive and we found that this motel met our expectations. The parking was adequate and from that location we had easy access to everything we wanted to see and do.
