The owner is very nice and sympathic lady.the rooms are renovated and very clean.Garden rooms and rooms with balcony are our favourite rooms.The breakfast is enough.The wifi works well.15 minutes to the city center.You can take a bus to go to the train station.We feel very comfortable in Metropol Hotel.

You can renovate the entrance of the hotel and change the old flags.

Friendly manager (I think), all alone to cover all tasks, very energetic and always a nice smile on her face. Room covers all needs : good bed, clean bathroom, the room I was in even had a separate space inside the room with a desk, very convenient. Breakfast was okay (cheese, ham, bread, fruits, yogurt, marmelade).

The room was on the street side, there is not much traffic but someone sensitive to noise would be wise to ask for a window on the yard side of the hotel.

Isabelle on reception is adorable - very helpful, polite and smiley. Hotel is very close to BBZ sporthalle for those who are playing there. Close to the town centre - walking distance. Size of the room. Old fashioned decor but it suits the place.

The weather! Tired hotel that may need updating in many people's eyes.

The doors to the rooms are thin so you could hear everyone passing by and talking outside. But I was only there for 1 night so it wasn’t a major issue.

Super nice hotel, very welcoming team and good breakfast. 20min walking from the train station and close to the Omega/Swatch museum. 10min walking distance from the city center.

Thicker curtains could be added to the bedroom to reduce early morning light.

Nice staff, breakfast was very okay, room was spotless and everything is as described.

Some may say it is outdated, for me was not an issue. Not really much around the hotel, but you can walk 15 minutes to the center.

Since there is no aircon, a fan should be provided (summer season) Need of 220V power plug adaptors (swiss plugs vs European standard)

Maybe there should be an electric boiler to heat water somewhere in the hotel.

Nice location a bit outside the city center, but conveniently located on a bus line. Close to Swatch and Omega Museums. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
