A good breakfast was included in the price of the room. There were both hot and cold buffet items, enough choice for vegetarian options. Our room was beachfront, allowing a view of the castle that was lit at night. The room was spacious with en-suite shower room, and comfortable bed. A spare pillow was available if required. The balcony was large enough to sit outside,weather permitting. A fridge was provided and coffee making facilities. There were restaurants near, of varying prices and quality. As the weather was not good for a couple of days we drove to nearby small towns which also offered easy parking and views of the coastline.

The spa at the hotel required some maintenance. At first the A/C in our room didn’t function but a quick call at reception easily remedied that.

The hotel is in a fantastic frontline location, within walking distance of amenities. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with pleasant and extremely helpful staff. Although not open at the moment, the pool area is lovely and has a good number of sun beds and cabanas. Breakfast was included with our booking and offered a great selection of cereals, breads, and hot & cold buffet items. We also enjoyed a super lunch in the attractive cocktail bar.

RH Portocristo exceeded all expectations with its stunning beachfront location, modern and well-maintained facilities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were immaculate, offering breathtaking sea views and luxurious comfort. The dining experience was exceptional, with a delicious variety of fresh, high-quality food. The pool and lounge areas were perfect for relaxation, and the hotel’s overall ambiance made for a truly enjoyable stay

The view of the sea and the castle was spectacular. Excellent central location on the beach. 15 min walk up to the castle. Convenient (paid) parking directly across the road. Good breakfast and lovely bar/restaurant at the front on the street.

Noisy plumbing in the room and small bathroom. There was a bit of street noise, but that's what you get staying amongst bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great room with fantastic view. Excellent breakfast.

No internet connection in our room despite it being one of their best rooms, so unable to read QR code ,use smart TV or use IPad except down in communal areas. We were moved after two days which solved the problem. Most staff very cooperative and friendly, but not all.

Hotel centrally positioned. The rooms v comfortable, clean, well-appointed Staff friendly and welcoming. Food v gd quality, Breakfast particularly good. My husband was well cared for, following a minor accident...

The spa is a little gloomy? And, small, therefore difficult to get a bkg. Possibly more obvious warning and labelling of plate glass doors.!

Unheated pool uncomfortable, would be great if at least the outside jucuzzi was a pleasant temp. Terrace abutted next building. Breakfast selection repetitive. Some facilities closed due to off season but not advertised as such.

A great location. The beach is across the road; there is parking nearby; the walled old town is a short walk away; plenty of bars and restaurants are within walking distance...and did I mention the beach? It's right across the road!

It was a spontaneous visit to the town, and if I'd known more about it I'd have chosen to stay two nights instead of one. It was a great wee place.

The location is superb, right on the beach, easy walk to the old town/castle, easy access to beaches, perfect. The hotel was lovely, very clean, staff all very friendly and professional. I had a small, single room, was travelling solo by motorcycle, and it was perfect for me. Even had a little balcony, very comfortable bed. The pool was great to have, nice atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend. I thought it was good value for money. I didn’t have the breakfast but decent coffee maker in the room.

Nice location near the beach and the castle and super friendly staff. Breakfast was very good and also food at the restaurant in the evening is nice. In low season there is free parking in the street and otherwise there is a paid parking across the street.

Completely met our expectations and would go back if I would be in the area.
