Tucked away on a hill in a quiet location, the hotel was a perfect oasis of relaxation for our stay. We loved the beautiful common areas- restaurant, lobby and the quiet comfortable room. We slept very well in the cozy sheets. Wellness was great, especially the outdoor warm pool. Half board was a great choice for us even if we are picky eaters. Lots of delicious options, including fresh fruits and many desserts! A great combination of active weekend- hiking/ walking and recharging in the spa. We cannot wait to return! :)

The location and amenities in the hotel are amazing and enjoyable experience. Beautiful serounding areas, great breakfast.

I book half board package and dinner is not impressive. I have stomachache with the fish. Beef dish was good. The road leading up to the hotel should be well salt or at least cleanup every morning as it was icy and dangerous when we left at around 11am. I have to say the road infront of lobby area was clean but car park area and lead to exit junction, a bit slippery during winter. It would be great if the hotel is for adult or have seperate section for kids in the pool etc

The free lifts pass with the go pass program was great and actually saved us a bunch of money as we used the chair lifts/funicular/gondolas every day. The mountains are spectacular! Access to the spa was nice, but it was busy at the hotel so those facilities were a bit crowded. The hotel is a historic place and you feel as if you have travelled back in time. A nice job by management to not destroy the charm of the hotel with inappropriate renovations.

Prospective guests should be aware that it is a 15 minute walk uphill from the town to the hotel. We always walked, but cabs are available.

excelent vibes, the whole venue makes you feel like an aristocrat. everything is clean, room is cosy and comfortable, staff is great, food is very good as well and great benefits included in stay such as waterparks and cable car tickets

limited ala carte dinner options - especially since couple of them are very similar. huge prices for some things such as 6.50 for a coffee in the bar, but that is more general issue with the entire high tatras location.

Overall it was a nice place to stay, eat and relax.

The price is superinflated for the value, i know that it is so due to the slovak employee "recreational vouchers" which are ordered by the state but still... In 2016 i wisitited this same hotel with exactly the same booking but the price was 165 EUR, now in 2024 it is 508 which is craezy and specially for people which doesn't have the vouchers, people like foreign tourists.

Hotel is really nice. The room was comfortable. Outside pool is small, but still very nice. Amazing location and a big plus - free cable car tickets. Breakfast was delicious. No worries with free parking space. We booked several dinners as well. It was tasty, though lack of choice for a kid. Our 7 years old daughter didn't find any suitable food, except for desserts, so price for a kid was a bit too high.

Be aware of pets policy, though this hotel accept guests with dogs (and charges for them a lot). When we checked in, at reception nobody told us, that this hotel has quite strict rules for pets. We only got a paper in the room: it's forbidden to wash a dog in the bath/shower, it's forbidden to leave a dog in the room alone for more than 1 (or 2, I don't remember exactly) hour, you cannot take a dog into lobby bar. It wasn't a problem for us, as we took our dog to the mountains, but this is the first time we faced such rules, even though we travel with our dog a lot. We found 2 cockroaches in our room. First one just after check in. We didn't make a big deal of it, but still.

Everything was fantastic - meals, spa, Christmas decorations, super friendly and helpful staff. We loved it!

In the spa there was an outdoors jacuzzi & there were always the same 3 ladies in, the whole evening (no chance to use this facility at all), drinking & smoking, which was super annoying in such a lovely nature. I think there should be someone to tell them it's not appropriate.

the pictures on the website don't do justice at all: the hotel is MUCH better in reality than it looks like in the pictures (it was a great surprise for us) ; the style and interior decoration are amazing ; the garden and terrasse are beautiful ; definitely a place to stay for hikes in the warmer seasons ; the buffet breakfast was great ; the buffet dinner was also great (good quality and range) ; the restaurant was beautiful ; the hotel was very clean, extremely well maintained and stunning in its architecture (a classic gem) ; the staff was helpful and respectful ; the location was excellent (e.g.: close to cablecars, hiking tracks, ski slopes, town) ; the parking was big and easy to move into ; the spa & wellness facilities were excellent and clean ; the bar was cool and barmen very friendly and at your attention ; live music is played on some days and over the weekend (pianist) ; the gopass included is a real bounty for the activities around ; there is a playroom for children and a big conference room ; the room and bed were comfortable ; the bathroom was clean ; we had a very good view from our room (classic room with view) ; we could even witness a sky-tearing storm ; the hotel is so good you could spend the whole there without feeling you're missing out ; I could go on and on but a definite gem in the Tatras ; one of the best hotels I've stayed in and would definitely recommend to anyone going in the Tatras ; very good value for money ; internet was good too and possible to work from the room desk

The wellness is just marvelous, one of my fav ever. I like that they have a separate, quite resting room with beds & blankets & candle lights, so you can easily take a spiritual inside journey after sauna & cold plunge. The steam bath has a unique citric smell that gets you cleaned up from toe to the top. The sight from the outside jacuzzi pool is just jaw dropping. They serve free refreshing drinks, water and orange flavored water as well. Rooms are nice and clean, the restaurant & the salon looks like you'd have been in a beautifully designed castle in the 18th century. Liked to stay here very much, will definitely come back again.

This is a beautiful, clean and quiet hotel with friendly staff and nice wellness. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t be happier with a place for resting after day of hiking. We used the pools and spa everyday and the last day I had a great massage. This hotel offers breakfast which was excellent. The hotel is located on a hill above the town which is short walk away, about 20 minutes.

The only thing that negatively surprised me was that the hotel allows smoking on their grounds. I was woken up several times at night by people smoking on their balconies and smoke coming in my room through opened window. Also, this is family friendly hotel and children are allowed even in the pool for relaxing which is outside. Fortunately all the kids were well behaved.
