Accessable from train R1, shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. Spacious room for family, air conditioned and hot water bathtub. Peace of mind with the room service. Essentials in the room were good, clean linen, etc.

Don't expect to depend on their in-house restaurant or breakfast bar. They might provide it if you ask but not really worth it, step out for better local bites. Not a hotel with great finesse either. You wont miss niggles like no bathroom door lock, broken or about to break fixtures, things that remind you that you picked a cheap accommodation. We didn't try to use the pool.

Atmosphere from 1970, location (very close to the beach and main street), content (air hockay, billiards, vending machines...), hot water and thub, roof pool, diverse and rich breakfast for 8 eur, very nice and polite staff

There was 5 AC outdoor units on our balcony and it was a true dry sauna. Kinda noisy place.

I paid £65 for a twin room for 2 nights in a hotel just 8 minutes stroll from a glorious sandy beach. The beds were clean and comfortable, the WiFi was generally very good and the bathroom - if a little unkempt - was totally functional. The staff were outstanding. Did I expect a great deal more for what I paid? No, because I'm not an imbecile! Don't pay for budget and expect luxury.

It was clean everywhere. We asked personal for additional towels, they did our request immediately. Also everyday they cleaned our room and brought additional soap and shampoo. Air conditioner was working well, TV worked as well. I liked hotel location. 6 min and you are swimming in the sea

For this prise and good location near the sea those hotel conditions were exelent. We have got aut. conditioner and even pur privat balcony. We had just one socket at our room and the maid was very kind and brought us double socket.

One night we became new neighbors in the next room and they were a little loud so we could hear how they was laughing or speaking at night, so as soundproofing is not so good.

The Hotel Continental is a glorious blast from the past, if you want to feel like the holiday makers of the 60s and 70s YOU CAN! Unbelievably affordable for it's nostalgic charm, additionally the staff were so accommodating. We loved our stay in the family room! Long live The Continental :))

If only the bar and pool were open we'd have been overjoyed!

Each room has a brand new air conditioning unit with remote. We had ice cold air conditioning in the room which was amazing! Hotel was very clean, The food in the restaurant was great and good value for money compared to the local restaurants. We had cable TV. The roof top pool was perfectly clean and great. The staff were lovely, special thanks to Badr at reception. Stay here you won’t regret it!

The first time I went to Calella... and I stayed at this hotel because it is in a very good area and the staff is very friendly at a good price... I had a problem with the cleaning of my room and thanks to the manager he was very kind to me he has solved it and I changed to another room... I'm sure I'll come back 😊

Comfort and cleanliness

We really loved the staff, they were amazing and we were well treated, everything felt supper comfy as well as the location is near the beach, there is breakfast and dinner as well, we didn’t expect the pool and the atmosphere that way to be honest, no doubt the Hotel is so suitable and good, Thanks to the staffs for their effort for making our experience there better and being helpful all the time❤️🙏🏻

I love the tall guy at the reception with the glasses and the curls. He is so kind and helpfull and we always were happy to see him. Please give him a raise. Also the guy in the restaurant (also tall with curls) was always very kind and we love him. In fact everybody was very nice.

They only cleaned once.
