Excellent location and facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most enjoyable breakfast by the beach.

Either the hotel or Booking.com have been hacked, and prior to my arrival I received several emails saying I had to check in online prior to arrival or my booking could be cancelled. This was very stressful and turned out to be a scam. These emails had my full details of my booking, including my booking confirmation number and personal details. When I eventually had my phone calls to the hotel answered by a person, they said ‘oh just ignore them - it’s a scam’. This is not a good attitude to a serious confidentiality breach, nor a good situation. Who would have been liable had I fallen for the scam? The hotel, or Booking.com?

Very well located across the road to beach. Umbrellas at beach part of the hotel and serviced by hotel staff at no cost. Easy to get taxis. Staff very pleasant and eager to help. Breakfast could have been a little more interesting everyday was the same. All the tavernas and cafes on the main stretch across the road with a variety to choose from.

Our room 216 at back had no privacy due to the balcony looking onto other apartments. But the shutters helped ur had to keep them closed

Location was excellent. The breakfast was moderate and offered the basics, but no option of different milks such as soy. The staff are so pleasant and friendly and quick to accomodate.

The beds were terrible. Firstly they were awfully uncomfortable and hard. Secondly we got 2 single beds. I did request a double but looking at other rooms most seemed to have single beds. Each time our room was cleaned, the door was NEVER locked. We told the cleaners to really pull the door shut but they never did. And there was no safe in the room which is very inconvenient. But they offered to keep our personal items in their safe at reception which we declined.

The location is fantastic. The beach is literally across the road. Our room with a sea view had a balcony which overlooked the sea. We were close to restaurants, a great bakery ( bake my day) and other amenities. The hotel has its own sun loungers on the beach which are free for those staying at the hotel ( a big bonus). Breakfast is provided in the lobby and can be eaten in the hotel or across the road looking over the beach ( our preference). Breakfast is simple but provides several options.

Cakes/ croissants provided as part of the breakfast buffet were not fresh. One of the receptionists on our first day was very unfriendly. The other gentleman was friendly and helpful which made up for this though.

The staff were exceptional. Very Polite, courteous. Very pleased with the staff.

There is scope to build on their environmental credentials. They were very efficient with keeping the rooms very clean. Maybe have a door sign for visitors should the visitors not need their towels replaced. Some visitors would like to contribute and help with reducing the burden of over washing and using more water resources than is necessary.

The location is perfect, the hotel was very clean and the main part of the room was perfectly adequate.

The glass shelf over the bathroom handbasin was far too big, it covered nearly half the basin making the basin difficult to use properly, (why so big anyway? What do they think you might want to put on it)? (see photos). The toilet paper holder fell off every time you used it, an attempt to keep it on with a wedge of loo paper, was of course unsuccessful. (see photos). There were no drinking glasses in the room, only two paper type cups for tea/coffee, (not ideal), no spoons, only thin wood type spatulas. Only 2 teabags, 2 coffee sachets and no milk! I found all this unacceptable for the daily charge of the room.

Close to the beach and the port. There’s a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast is decent and the room for 3 people is very clean and spacious (We got a room with 3 single beds.)

Although the bathroom is huge and spacious, there’s no clear separation between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom (except a shower curtain). The bathroom will be flooded and become wet after the shower, which is not so convenient if you didn’t bring a slipper with you.

Great location on the beachfront. Very close to bars, restaurants and coffee/ice cream shops. Helpful staff. Comfortable beds and decent breakfast. Breakfast opened at 7am which was very useful as we wanted to be at Messene at 8:30 when it opened.

Parking is available nearby but you have to drive around for it. However we got a space every time so wasn’t a problem in mid-June

Good location on the sea front and no problem parking outside( but I'm usually lucky). Good views from a good sized balcony and the bedroom was well set out.

Whilst the size of the room and balcony were very good, the bathroom was poor. The door opened on to the towel shelf, the shower was the smallest possible tray with only plastic curtain surround. No room to move in it to wash. How we didn't drench the floor I don't know. The light in the bathroom was abysmal.

location the best. breakfast fantastic, you could even take breakfast at the beach tables, room very comfortable. Offered free umbrellas etc at the beach in front of hotel. We cancelled part of our stay due to a death in family and they offered to cancel the 2 nights with no charge to us. BRAVO
