Although the hotel’s restaurant was closed during our visit, the staff provided excellent recommendations for dining in Orvieto, ensuring we enjoyed the best of the local cuisine. From the magnificent Orvieto Cathedral to the intriguing underground caves, there is something for every traveler. The property is really lovely and everything was as described on website. Staff were very helpful and the lady on reception very kindly arranged a booking for us to eat in Bar Zelletta across the road shorty after we arrived, even though it was before the afternoon opening time.

The location was a bit farther away from Orvieto old town than we had expected but it was still a lovely drive to admire the scenery and the reception staff were happy to offer advice regarding parking etc. Orvieto is charming and well worth a visit. Also not too overcrowded so you can enjoy walking around visiting the historical sites.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful whenever we needed something. It is a beautiful property and we would highly recommend staying there.

I am in Italy get me a price of 100 a nite not 130 The pool made it everything else is boreing and maybe that is what you want quiet and secluded but best if you have a car and they serve only breakfast you must get your own food

misquote problem, no shade for pool area at all and to get to the Orvieto Hill top, plan on 15 min car ride- so rent a car. Michelin star restaurant no longer on property, so have to leave to find dinner

The bathroom had a bit of a sewer smell but considering the age of the hotel i suppose it is understandable.

The hotel and pool area are very beautiful. Lots of charm inside with the old classic Italian decoration. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly.

The beds were not comfortable and the rooms could use some updating. Unfortunately, the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner.
