- Extraordinary location, easy to reach by car (~1 hour drive from Rovaniemi). Main roads are well-maintained, the final road is cleaned by the family with their amazing tractor. - Gorgeous nature with a forest around the house on one side and a lake shore on the other. We skied across the lake and reached wild woods on the other side. - Extremely private and quiet location. Perfect for stargazing and aurora hunting. Yet the hosts are nearby if needed. - Great facilities: ski rental, snowmobile rental, their own reindeer farm. Talk to the hosts about a reservation. - Kitchen stocked with everything. Oil, salt, coffee, utensils, pots and pans are all abundantly present. - True Finnish sauna in a separate cubicle attached to the house. Wood fireplace in the house. Wood is provided for the whole stay.

- Be aware that a bathroom is colocated with a sauna. You have to go outside across the porch (2 foot steps) to reach it from the main room. It did not affect our stay at all, just be prepared.

This property was the perfect escape to an authentic Lapland experience. Cozy, homely and set in the most idyllic location. House was very well equipped with everything we needed including lots of bits and bobs to get us started! Immaculately clean and always warm! Loved the log burning fireplace! We saw the Northern Lights over on the lake on few nights and the reindeer walking by the window will never grow old!

It is around 45/50mins drive from Rovaniemi so a fair drive and 30kms away from the nearest grocery store/supermarket however this is well advertised at booking and we made a conscious decision to book this property because it was more remote.

Exceptional friendly and helpful hosts! We stayed in the Reikki-house directly at the lake, with a sauna inside and a perfect view to the amazing polar light (revontuulet). You find everything (pots, cutlery etc) inside for cooking, you have WiFi and a cozy fireplace to chill in the evenings. Outside in the storage you find sleighs for your children (our are 3 and 6 years old) and not far away you can feed their reindeers. Thanx for this fantastic trip to Lapland, it couldn’t have been better! I‘d recommend this place to everyone and we would return to this beautiful place!

I highly recommend this accommodation! Everything was perfect. The house was so cozy, beautiful, clean and well equipped. Like a dream house :) The owner welcomed us so lovely : as we were in January there was a Christmas tree inside waiting for us and other decorations. Everything was lighting for our welcome :) there was even a jar of home made jam! The owners were so helpful and kind, they even helped us in organizing some attractions. There surrounding is beautiful, lake is very close just a short walk from a house. For us it was a memorable stay and I am sure it would be for everybody :)

Booking this accommodation was one of the best decisions we made! Everything was absolutely perfect. The host was incredibly friendly and always available to assist with our questions and needs. We loved seeing all the reindeer around the property and even had the chance to feed them, which was such a unique experience! The absolute highlight of our stay was witnessing the northern lights for two nights in a row – it was truly magical and unforgettable. If you’re planning a trip to Lapland, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s the perfect spot for an unforgettable experience!

There are several types of accommodation. Ours was, I guess, the smallest one, the cottage had only one little bedroom and a one another room (kitchen+sitting room). The cottage is set by a lake. The view from the cottage is absolutely breath-taking. I loved every minute of our stay. The cottage was clean and everything was done with love and care ♥️ We loved the terrace and just watching the lake This was a dream come true. A small and a cozy cottage at a lake in Finland.

The owners were so kind and accommodating, answering queries promptly. The facilities with sauna, hot tub, log fire, amount of bedrooms, and space was impeccable. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The owners showed us how to feed the reindeer on site for free, which was the best experience of our trip. You are located on a beautiful scenic lake with surrounding woods which was beyond our expectations. 100% would return, and wanting to asap! Peace and serenity. Wooden Sauna was extremely good. Location for sure, just besides the lake , perfect for viewing Northern lights ( when it comes)🤞 The kitchen is fully equipped with all sorts of kitchen appliances. Plus, kudos to the owners for keeping lots of basic items ( left by fellow travelers) already available for others to use. Towels, toiletries, bedsheets, pillow all in abundance. Owners were a message away. Feeding the Reindeers was an extremely unique experience for us. We took pick up and drop off service from the owners, very handy. As the van takes us to shopping before we reach the cottage. Highly recommended and we will surely visit again.

We had a bed and sofa cum bed for two adults and a child. Bed was smaller for two normal sized adults (Husband 182 cm and wife 167 cm). Felt little cramped. There is absolutely no cupboard in the cottage , so all the clothes ( outdoors and indoors) have to be hanged on the hooks. It is also a bit difficult if staying for a longer duration. Would highly appreciate it if one can be added to the cottage.

Lovely place to stay - To start the scenery and location is incredible, lovely secluded place which is homey and cosy yet spacious at the same time. The owners were lovely, with great communication and local knowledge. They had set the beds up as two doubles for both couples and they were really comfortable. The owners provided lots of information and were on hand to answer any questions or queries. The place was extremely warm throughout our stay and very comfortable - would 100/10 recommend. Feeding and seeing the reindeers on our last day was another amazing highlight that they offered! We all left not wanting to leave :) Additionally, the property had everything you'd need to cook etc (lots of utensils) which made cooking a breeze!

This place is exactly like from the catalog of Lapland- wooden log house (cottage) located 10m from the bank of the lake. Very well equiped (kitchen, bathroom). Sauna in the house. Reindeers at the property. Forest next to the house. Mosquitos werent't very problematic.

Bathroom togehter with sauna, small bedroom and narrow bed. General problem for Lapland in summer- most of windows are unopenable, what makes warmth inside.
