It's a cozy place with a big and well equipped kitchen and large shared spaces to chill with other travellers. The accommodation is clean because everyday someone comes to clean it. They even do the dishes. The host is friendly, responds quickly and provides lots of additional information to help you with your journey. The accommodation is centrally located and you can walk to the city centre and to the train station.

The rooms are rather packed, so the space for your luggage is limited. But it's OK, just don't spread out all your stuff.

Outlet near the bed, kitchen with a lot of shared stuff! Some travelers left what they didn’t need any longer, so they already have basic condiments. Not just normal cutleries but they also have thermos that are free to use, which I brought to the Aurora hunting tour. Laundry and drier is provided for 20 euro per round.

There’s only one toilet (technically they have two but in the same room without any partition for some reason so only one person can use it at a time), so if you know you are gonna in hurry it’s better to go to the bathroom in advance instead of hoping it’s vacant at the last minute

The owner/manager was extremely helpful. I became ill, and the staff there was really nice in aiding my recovery and looking after me. They provided me with medicine and made hot drinks. Extremely good hospitality which cannot be beaten whats so ever. They also provided breakfast in terms of cereal and teas whereby you only have to bring ur own milk. They have all the facilities you need. Extremely warm and cosy, showers are always warm and fit for purpose. Was very clean and every day I was there, I saw a deep clean of the entire hostel. This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in and would really recommend.

Alisa is so awesome, she does so much for the property and it shows! She had a really good recommendations for a northern lights tours and other activities too. I liked the kitchen facilities, and the bathroom products and basic food items available for use are also good if someone is in a bind. The location of the hostel is nice and central, easy to access everything and only 5mins away from a major shopping centre.

~ There is only one toilet room (2 toilets in one room next to each other - not stalls) and one shower room for all 12-13 guests to use. This wasn’t a major issue, but it didn’t feel like there was much privacy; particularly if maybe you’re having an off night. People in the common lounging area can hear everything happening in the bathroom and toilet room. ~ There’s also no lockers here or storage bins for luggage. So everyone kind of piles their stuff in the bed if they’re on an upper bunk and under/on the bed of a lower bunk. ~ Laundry has to be handed to the staff to take care of~ which for me personally, I don’t like parting with any of my belongings when I’m travelling but for some this might not be an issue.

Fun aesthetic, cute central living space with couches, big kitchen, staff do dishes for you, laundry service available (very efficient), free tea, coffee and snacks. Towels replaced daily. 15min walk to Rovaniemi train station and 10min walk to the supermarket. Easy pickup for all arctic activities.

Only one toilet and one shower for the whole hostel to share made things a bit difficult. With the amount of space in each room, stalls could easily be installed. Crazy expensive too, but that’s to be expected from anywhere people go to see the Northern Lights.

liked the unique interior! There weren't many other guests (only 2 hostel rooms) and it was really easy to meet other travellers :) Communication went smoothly and the place was close enough to the bus station/supermarket.

The kitchen is big and practical and there is everything you need! I just didn't like that there was no eating possibility in the main space, to socialise/look outside into the snow. The freezer was also crammed with stuff that had already been expired for over a year! The shared fridge also had things ib it that were (almost) expired. I'd suggest letting people write their date of departure on it and making a section in the fridge for giving away free food so that not as much food is wasted.

Honestly LOVED staying here! I’ve stayed in a few hostels and have never had an owner be more involved and helpful. She kept the facilities clean and kitchen stocked for anyone who needed a snack. She went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. The location was close to saints clause village as well maybe 10 mins by car. As a solo female traveler I noticed that she did her best to group a lot of the girls in one room which I appreciated!

I’ve stayed in quite a few hostels so was surprised by the high price point when booking. I do have to say Finland in general is more expensive so it sort of makes sense

Everything was perfect. Centrally located, small and cozy where you feel like home, and very clean. The shower is in one big room and the toilets in another big room, with a few toiletries provided (soap, tissues etc). There was never an issue of having to queue for one or the other. The kitchen is very big and some essentials were also provided for free (tea, pasta etc.). Easy to check in and Alisa was always available to answer any question.

It is a lovely place in the center of the town, it is very cosy, feels like beeing at home, spotless clean, the kitchen is well equipped, there is enough space for everyone. There is only one bathroon and one toilet, which seemed to me not enough for 12 people, but during my 5 days stay there wasn´t any issue. It is a good place to come back to after spending the whole day outside in the cold. I have enjoyed the stay there.

There is only one shared door key in the key box outside. The small box with the tiny key board was driving me mad every time I tried to get in. It is for someone with tiny fingers and good eyes:)
