We loved being right on the village doorstep.. being able to come and go. The cottage was so cosy and warm. Overall it was very clean. The sauna was super handy for drying clothes also.

This is really meant to be constructive.. one small improvement... shower grid needed cleaning out as bathroom was flooding when shower was on . Also Mattress in one of the lodges on the sofa bed could do with replacing. We had 2 rooms and the quality of the mattress in the 2nd room was much better. One of the kitchens was also much better equipped with pots cutlery and delf than the other so probably should be checked that all cottages have standard amount of ware etc. These were all minor and wouldn't stop me from booking again but areas to work on.

Free high quality breakfast with variety of foods. Very comfy atmosphere and staff. Spa facilities in our room with the sauna was top notch. A brilliant place to stay because of how well everything is integrated. A little pricey bur if you're staying in the village you get a discount in some places simply if you show ur cottage card/hotel card.

Although facilities was top notch with almost everything you could ask for, they could've provided a little more in the cottages such as toothpaste/brushes but all in all - can't complain!

Beautiful place, lovely staff, plenty to do, everything shuts down at 5/6 so lovely for guests to wander around in the evening. We went off peak so was perfect for us, more adults than children but barely any waiting times and we got to do everything. Hotel accommodated early check in which we appreciated. Our kids are 1,6 and 12 and there was things for the whole family to do. Staff really friendly, breakfast was lovely and had help bringing bags into room.

Only minor thing was WiFi not really working in our room, so we couldn't cast anything on to the telly or use the apps on it.

The sofa bed was already set up as we requested, which was a great start. We stayed in a cabin at the end, and they kindly allowed us to check in early and check out late. All the staff were amazing, and there were sledges everywhere for the children to enjoy. Breakfast was plentiful with a fantastic selection. The on-site Elf Restaurant offers children's meals for $15, and the kids absolutely loved them. The magic of this place is truly felt when everyone has gone home. Plus, you can get food and groceries delivered at night, which is incredibly convenient.

The restaurant is through the gift shop, which didn't bother me as my children knew we were staying on a tight budget, but I imagine it could be stressful for parents with children who want things.

The accomodation staff were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond. They even booked my airport transfer for me and I was collected directly from my lodge. Our neighbours were in and out of the shared front door all night, on the first night. But the door was really loud and squeaky. The next morning, I reported the squeaky door to reception and by the time I got back to the lodge, it was sorted. So the rest of the nights were peaceful. I was very impressed by the efficiency.

I would have loved some hot chocolate sachets along with the tea and coffee selection!

Santa claus village is truly magical, even in March. It was still snowing and whole Christmassy vibe was still there but without the masses of people in December. The cottages are a great size ( I'd completely missed the part that said it had a sauna in the room so that was a great surprise) The cottages were really warm, spotless and very well decorated. We did the reindeer and husky rides on site. The souvenir shops were great. All the staff were very polite helpful. 20/10 will be talking about this trip to anyone that will listen.

I honestly don't have a bad word to say about santa claus village

It was clean, spacious and had a lovely feel. Close to all the amenities and facilities of Santa Claus village. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Sauna was a welcome bonus, along with the lovely toiletries and even hair straighteners in the bathroom. My daughter was overjoyed that there was even a small branded bathrobe for her to wear! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

The only thing I can suggest (as we ate out and had no plans to self cater) - in addition to instant coffee, it would have been nice to get a coffee bag/filter for the coffee machine and a small milk. Definitely not a deal breaker though!

The Santa Claus Village is the centre of the Rovaniemi Lapland experience for families with children. So much to do and see, safe, well laid out, the cabins were cosy and clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff were so helpful, the cabins are cleaned daily, they do a luggage drop off and collection for you which is so helpful. The paths and roads are gritted several times a day if needed. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Husky rides with Bearhill are a must. The reindeer farm and Mrs Claus house are gorgeous. The restaurants on site and also on the outskirts of the Santa Claus Village are great too. The Snowman world and the Snow Mobile rides were a big hit.

Location is perfect, right in the heart of Santa Village, where all the attractions are nearby. The cottage had everything you need for a short stay, including a fridge, microwave, cutlery, plates, pans. SmartTV with Netflix, a sofa bed, table and chairs. Plus, there’s a private sauna, which is a bonus. Breakfast was good. Not a huge amount, but everything we had tasted nice. I saw some bad comments about the coffee, but there was a coffee machine there where you could make your own coffee/capuccino, plus coffee ready to go somewhere else. All good! Internet also worked fine inside of the cottages and heating was spot on. There are free sledges outside of the cottages for the kids to play! Plus every cottage has its own Christmas tree outside. So magical!

Nothing to complain about. I would love to come back!!!!
