We have stayed at the Arctic Light Hotel twice now, and each time has been an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels cared for, and the service is nothing short of exceptional. A special mention goes to Mark, who is incredibly professional and attentive. His dedication to providing top-notch service truly stands out, and he made our stays even more memorable. The hotel itself is stunning, with a cozy yet modern atmosphere that reflects the beauty of the Arctic. Thank you again to the entire team, and especially Mark, for making our visits so special!

Staff super friendly and responsive to requests. Antonis especially helpful and warm. Room very cozy and inviting. Very comfortable bed and space. Good amenities including bikes to borrow no fee and close to the water and bike paths. Great 30’ sauna experience included each day. Close to shops, restaurants and bus stops. The shower was amazing!!! Delectable breakfast included with large selection for all tastes.

Property design involves a lot of transitions with step ups /down can be challenging coming in from sun with dark areas and floor. No other negatives to note.

If you value comfort, this is the perfect place. Everything this hotel offered was top notch. We got an extremely spacious room, comfortably and fashionably furnished with our own mini kitchen, ironing board and all the other equipment that should be in such a place. The bathroom had all the cosmetics, including separate shampoo, body gel, conditioner, body lotion and hand wash. We came with a dog and got a special room, located at the entrance to the hotel on the other side (so we didn't have to go through the entire hotel to go for a walk). Another convenience was the private parking. The hotel is also located by the river and a nice place for longer walks, as well as near shops. However, the biggest advantage of this hotel is the food. Breakfasts are fantastic. Everything you could dream of is served, of the best quality. We also visited the restaurant and the dinner served to us also delighted us. Additionally, our dog received a bowl for the duration of his stay, a blanket and a small gift. Thank you very much for an incredibly successful stay. We will definitely return to this hotel next time in a larger group.

Our room was exceptionally comfortable and modern with adjustable lighting features, a well stocked refrigerator, super comfortable attached twin beds, robes and slippers for the sauna that was very modern with an electric stove that was really hot. The morning breakfast buffet had plenty of healthy choices with arctic berries, delicious breads and jams, tasty hot oatmeal, juices, and of course, very good coffee and a variety of teas to choose from. The hosts at the reception counter were very friendly, spoke multiple languages, and gave very helpful information. Best place I've ever stayed at in Finland. Kiitos oikein paljon!

Absolutely nothing

We liked: - the well appointed rooms, nicely decorated - great communal areas at the hotel lounge / bar - fantastic breakfast - the hotel doesn't look much from the outside but the interior decoration is beautiful - we arrived early (8am) on the night train from Helsinki but were kindly allowed to check in and were given a room straight away - Mr Mark at reception took great care of us and helped us a lot with local advice

There is nothing not to like about this beautiful and well managed boutique hotel. If you are traveling to Rovaniemi, this is definitely the place to stay

We liked a lot the staff, the restaurant, the location and the possibility to use the sauna for 30’ a day

The room was the most uncomfortable room we ever stayed in. Unfortunately, we booked the loft mini and it not clear from the pictures that it would be this uncomfortable. We would bump our head daily and had literally no chance of walking inside the room without hitting our head or needing to bend in weird postures. Then there was a sort of armchair inside the bathroom which frankly speaking was disturbing and definitely unhealthy with no chance of ever getting cleaned. Another thing we didn’t like was the continuous sounds we would hear day and night of some machines and engines close to the room

The Staff was extremely friendly, accessible, and competent. The rooms were very comfortable, unique! We loved the elevators, the sauna was an amazing amenity, and convenient to schedule, the location was PRIME! Super convenient to everything walking distance in City Center, and the bus into Santa's Village & the airport. The breakfast was impressive and delicious! The Restaurant was one of our BEST MEALS in Finland the entire trip! The waitress was amazing (Amazing young woman from Greece), the G&T drinks were delicious, and the ambiance was so cozy! Bonus: Served dinner to us after our late arrival (10 pm).

The only thing we had difficulty in figuring out was the lighting. The entire room (living room, bedroom and bathroom) seemed to all be connected to one circuit, it was confusing was all. We managed just fine and were able to work it out, but we noticed this was common in Finland, everywhere we stayed...

The hotel is located in the city center and right next to many famous restaurants. Our check-in experience was great thanks to Diana, she made a very nice gesture by remembering my wife's birthday. She personally helped us in every situation throughout our stay. The half-hour spa pleasure provided us with a very enjoyable experience on the last day of our trip, it made us forget the -32 degree cold. Breakfast was served as an open buffet and especially the scrambled eggs were very delicious, there is more than enough variety to suit every taste. Thanks to the entire Arctic Light Hotel family for providing us with a very nice experience despite only staying for 1 day :)

Absolutely satisfied of my experience in this elegant hotel. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was very variegated, full of delicious and fresh food. The room was definitely large, wider than the normal standard I would expertise: bright, clean and with a very comfortable and spacious bed. The hotel has also a gym, wich is small but very functional, always clean and with the main requirements. I love the fragrance and quality of the soap in the bathroom. I would surely come back in this hotel.

I would only suggest to provider a TV inside the room wich allows to see many more channels (also from other nationalities). Unfortunately I couldn't use it since there were very little channels and all in finnish language.

Feels like a designer hotel with ample lounge areas and very nice rooms. Reception team was pleasant, helpful and very professional throughout our stay.. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible from providing helpful travelling tips to arranging of transportation and offering to prepare breakfast takeaways when they knew we had an early flight out. Service staff at the dining area were also very patient amidst the breakfast chaos. The breakfast offering exceeded our expectations. Kudos to thr arctic light team. Location was also perfect as it's "round the corner" from tour companies and the main street.
